Venezuela holds the world's largest proven oil reserves. Sitting unused under sanctions for years. Trump unlocked them 2 months before launching the biggest Middle East military operation since Iraq: an operation his own intelligence told him would likely trigger a Hormuz closure.

He didn't stumble into Venezuelan oil. He secured it first.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve exists for emergencies. Venezuelan oil is something bigger: a long-term Western Hemisphere alternative to Gulf dependence that America now controls directly.

If this was planned, it's the most consequential economic chess move of the 21st century. Capture Maduro, unlock the reserves, strike Iran, absorb the Hormuz closure with an oil supply already in American hands.

Nobody called it that in public. But the timeline doesn't lie.

I still do not understand the whole essence of the attack on Iran because we have seen this script play put before. Why not go after their nuclear enrichment sites and missile production facilities...

If Iran becomes ungovernable, you can imagine the number of dangerous missiles that will find its way to hard line terrorist. It is even possible that Khamenei will be replaced with a more radical leader and then the cycle continues...
