One of your decisions is leaning and favouring a particular religion when it comes to making comments on their thread. For fairness and not to be seen as partial, that restriction you placed on muslim thread should also be applicable to christian thread. We cant say because christians are tolerant, then people from other religion can just make comment that are not right. Don't be seen as someone who lacks courage and feel threatened to make good decisions.
In addition, I may not be entirely right, but i have seen people complain a lot that you promote and allow oppositions or people with dissenting opinions to drag and abuse President Tinubu, however comments against key opposition parties and their members are hidden. I understand people have freedom of speech but decorum should be applied as well when making statement. Constructive criticism of government policies are welcome and should be promoted, however resorting to blackmail, abuse, and insults should be discouraged on this forum.

The post with most likes in 24 hours should be given a a temporary badge and monetized reward like 5000 naira.

This will encourage more creative writing and participation.

Seun, let the minimum age for registration on Nairaland be 18 years!

Please Seun for all its worth, extend the blocking option of people I wouldn't want to see their views and opinion on this platform from 3 weeks to like forever or at least 6 month. This forum has gone down the drain with the flooding of opinion that didn't pass cognitive test at all.


You should regulate this platform in a form where for someone to render an opinion it must follow through like qoura model. If you don't take this serious, it finalize the dying of this forum as text is no more the best medium of communication these days since the social media short form video platform has fully taken over.

Remove auto ban bot completely. It is very frustrating seen a normal view been deleted and u are been banned for it. Allow complete freedom of speech.

Monetization... everybody saying lol. Abeg how much seun dey make on advertisement on this website? No Google AdSense or other paying ads, even at the fact that Nairaland banks a lot of traffic...make una just forget about monetization, or Nairaland may just become the next tiktok with nonsense content.

Secondly, nothing wrong with the site appearance or structure. Remember this is a forum...the template is ok for the type.

Besides, seun should try integrate AI to Nairaland. The world is evolving. Ai that translates yoruba, igbo and hansa

Sir, your moderators are very bias and that is the failure of the forum. Boss, a lot of people are complaining how the forum is dwindling if nothing is not done to restore the glory of this ingenuity this forum will be history...

Nairaland has great topics giving opportunities for very constructive discussions where everyone can learn. The problem is that such topics get derailed by terrible comments by not so intelligent people.
How can a topic be on the fifth page and only a handful of comments are on topic?
I'd wish I could mute some users and just see comments that are on topic.
