When is the Lord coming? I've heard this since I was a teenager.
Our grandparents and great grandparents were sold the same story, and we are supposed to pass that along to our kids and grandkids. Certain things just don't add up anymore abeg.

The event that we describe as Rapture is in the scripture and Jesus talked about it in Math 24 when he said two people shall be engaging in activities that one shall be taken and the other left.
I don't even know what article i can use to describe how you people misunderstand what Jesus is saying.

You know Jesus use parables a lot.
But those parables needed to be interpreted clearly for better understanding, otherwise you will think he saying A, meanwhile he is saying B grin

The church today read bible and have been greatly deceived by their misunderstanding.

Two people, one taken the other left, isn't rapture.
The significance there is that, two people will hear Jesus and his disciples preaching the gospel of the the kingdom. One will believe the message and become a believer, the other will reject the message and remain an unbeliever.

This thing happened 2000 years ago at the time Jesus was about to be crucified.
You people are now mistaken it for rapture and say it will happen in an unknown time in our future which is not true.

You see the extent to which people can be confused?
Let see one scripture here

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 (KJV) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
this is not rapture!
This is resurrection.

What is real is resurrection
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
this is to say the coming of the Lord is when we die. And that we will not prevent other believers who have died from resurrecting.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
this thing is like using a metaphor to describe resurrection.
And the interpretation of all these is when we die. It will just be like Jesus has come to call us that our time has reach for judgement.
Another scripture says it is appointed once for men to die, after that the judgement.

There is nothing rapture here.
Rather, we will all face judgement when we die.
Those who believe in Christ will resurrect immediately after the judgement.
Those who don't believe will continue to die forever
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
in the air?

We will be in the air?
Are we birds or what?

Please let's try to interpret these scriptures rightly.
It's so ridiculous in 2025 where people are educated, someone will read bible and cannot see beyond the letters grin
That event is what we are describing as rapture. We shall be Caught up and meet Jesus Christ in the cloud in the day of the rapture.
Una nor dey try grin

And what will now happen to the earth that God instructed mankind to replenish from the beginning? grin
Resurrection of the dead is for those who are dead experiencing resurrection to meet Jesus in the cloud
And you forget that Jesus consistently used the term THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN to describe heaven.

It is also very possible that, at the time these scriptures were documented mankind could not distinguish between heaven and the clouds.

But Jesus had said his kingdom(which is heaven) is in our heart.
So why are we still looking for heaven in the clouds? cheesy grin

You nor see how we mumu?

Everything beneficial that the whiteman gives blacks must be paid for. Jobs, education, health…except Jesus. Sane people have right to be suspicious of the gift and see it as a Trojan horse.

Jesus is coming to save you. From what? Tinubu? Believers and nonbelievers dey collect in equal measures. Who still believes these fairy stories?

I thank God for the blood of Jesus shed for me on the cross which washed me from my sin. Every day I am filled with Joy knowing I have eternal life and therefore an eternal life of glory ahead of me, because of this I labour to reach all the fulness of Christ.
