She (Nairaland) needs more DEEP CONTENTS! Hence the need for content writers! Get or hire some guys to write content for this website! Even the Holy Bible and Holy Quran narrates stories with deep contents! Good Morning, Tell your mods they should stop banning people, everyone is entitled to their opinions! |

Dear Mr Seun, I have been on nairaland for more than 15years, I must say I have enjoyed it but the major issue I see now is that your current moderators are not as good as before, they bring old and outdated news item to the front page, those days nairaland used to be where we get instant and verified news. I think your present modes are not sharp and they mostly bring outdated and fabricated news to the front page. My one cent. |

Everybody should be allowed to comment on an Islamic thread without any oath as it is obtainable on a Christian thread. Make the topics here more educative. Let verified topics of relevance be posted alone. Thank you very much sir. |

Nairaland has to learn the geopolitical history of Nigeria. Some accounts have been marked by your moderators in order to give their tribesmen the monopoly of using ethnic slurs unprovoked. You dare not reply a slur towards Yorùbá except you get banned while the tribalist continue to have a field day running amok with tribalistic comments against Yorùbá. |

I have been on nairaland for about a decade or more now, I noticed the branding hasn't really improved , I know you are trying to maintain some identity which is good, but trying to innovate with reference to ux,ui will be fine too Secondly, are you aware of how similar social media platforms have become creative about letting content creators and in some cases visitors earn a fraction from their efforts posting on platforms? In my opinion, if any competitor happens to identify this kind of service you are currently offering and add any feature that will allow creators and possibly visitors to earn no matter how small, nairaland may start looking unappealing. Let me know if I am getting something wrong. But those are my thoughts. |

Seun, criticisms will never end. But am here to celebrate your ingenuity for creating a platform for Nigerians to share there thoughts across various issues. Aburo, ride on in grace, grandeur for generations. You are good & doing quite well because Nairaland happens to be one of my favorites to check up what's up in Naija. I didn't notice this, but ensure you stay focused the Nairaland remains unbiased in areas of gender, religion & political persuations. |

Nairaland is no longer fun like it use to be. I was a guest on nairaland from 2007 before I registered in 2011 I think. The forum have become a tribal platform where some disgruntled elements come to show thier stupidity. I MISS THE OLD NAIRALAND where we are allowed to book space. |

Change this nairaland forum design abeg. Don't be too rigid with change. |
| Re: Nairalanders, Talk To Me About Nairaland by McDoe(m): 9:22am On Mar 02 |
Is a nice platform. However, allow current replies to topics to be on top. It will make reading more interesting. A situation in which current responses to issue are taken down is not really the best. My suggestion, anyway |

Seun:Remove the bias cover you give to religion on the platform. Of we write Muhammad or Aisha, your bot will automatically block us |

It's high time you monetized this your site. Secondly, one of your mode banned me since last year till 2031. |

Mr. Seun, it is very commendable of you, as the founder, to ask users how Nairaland can be made more intuitive. That level of openness to feedback is truly admirable. As a regular user of Nairaland, I honestly believe there isn’t much that requires improvement at the moment. While some users have suggested that the platform needs a UI overhaul, I respectfully disagree. A complete redesign could temporarily reduce visits, as many long-time users would need time to adjust to a new interface. Nairaland is primarily an information-based platform, and its simplicity is one of its greatest strengths. The current layout is straightforward, functional, and easy to navigate. I personally know many users aged 60 and above who actively use Nairaland everyday and a major redesign could create unnecessary cognitive overload for them. |

saasala:I agree with you. The UI is fine just the way it is. I have been visiting nairaland for over 10 years and one thing that has kept me hooked is the interface. There have been enough changes already. Leave it as it is now. |

You've really done well with this platform over the years. But there's just one thing I have been hoping you'd introduce on this platform, The Dislike Button. Just as most other SM websites have the like and dislike buttons, yours should have at least by now have that too. Except there's a very good reason, you've decided not to. |
| Re: Nairalanders, Talk To Me About Nairaland by Dimehook: 9:56am On Mar 02 |
Most social media don't have dislike button though, even YouTube limited it, you can dislike but number of dislikes not visible, FB, tiktok, X, Instagram doesn't have it Banbanna: |

You need to modify members inbox. Sometimes, I receive email notification on inbox notification but upon getting here, I won't see the message. |
| Re: Nairalanders, Talk To Me About Nairaland by Banbanna(m): 10:03am On Mar 02 |
Well, those you mentioned aren't quite exactly like Nairaland, which duels largely on controversial write-ups and comments. At least a thumbs down symbol to something you take exception to, wouldn't be bad if introduced Dimehook: |

Seun:Why does someone need to swear and agree to certain terms before commenting on a Muslim posts? But this feature is not available in Christian posts? Don't you think that there are non Muslim that would like to interact and engage with Muslim brothers and sisters, just like our Muslim brothers and sisters already are able to interact and engage Christians in their posts ![]() |

DenreleDave:How often can u eat a plate of egusi soup and Eba in a week? Everyday nonstop? Even a goat doesn't eat a particular kind of grass everyday. Change is constant. The world is evolving and nairaland should move along with it Stop promoting stagnancy. You're not a tree 🌴 |

Seriously @seun, the bot or banning policy has significantly affected the growth of this great platform. My account, @chrs4gold, has been part of this community for nearly two decades — 18 years to be precise. It was suddenly banned, even while I had an active advertisement running. This is quite discouraging. Please, you need to urgently look into this issue and put the necessary measures in place before it’s too late. |

Seun:East vs West war, and war against the female gender should stop. If you can achieve these, I bet more people would engage. How many ladies are here in nairaland? Some mischievous people derive joy in posting fake news about drug kingpins just to fan the flames of tribalism towards the east. |

You ban people anyhow without cause, delete my comments yet you allow APC agents insult Peter Obi and opposition without ban. If you don't like the running of the site, sell it and let reasonable people handle the site. Also, time to get a proper Nairaland app. An app that should give notifs if there is a like, comment or share. Start monetization. Then add a feature where we can ban some monikers permanently. |
