Someone should please assist us with Answer
Your qualification is based on what you studied not what you are practisng or want to practice.
If ur course is not on a anabin ,then you do zab to qualify. If it's recognized fully, you are good to go.

It will be easier for you if you have some data analysis experience. If you don't you're going to have to find a way to convince them why you think you can get a job in that field in Germany.

I study Physics Education and I have applied for ZAB since I couldn't find it on the Anabin.

While filling the application i filled Teaching/ data Analysis as intended employment which I will later edit to just Data Analysis

My question now:
1. Will they ask for Certification in data Analysis, prove of employment (employment Letter) ?

2. Is a right decision to study physics education and want to go in as Data Analyst embassy interview / Visa wise?

I have knowledge of data analysis and software development, but I am currently working as a Physics teacher.

Please, how will I convince them during the interview , through verbal explanation or by providing evidence?

They will give u a test on ur course of study.Ur data analysis is not a two-year and above program so it doesn't qualify.
They will ask what you do and intended job in Germany which should align with your course of study.
Data analysis may fall under part time job which may not be ur cause of study.
If u can get a job in ur field of study why not .
The visa is for a degree pro or voca which u already have.
And u ar doing the job,why do u want to be pushing the narrative of data analysis.

I would have loved my intended job to be in my field of study like Physics Teacher, Sciences Teacher or STEM Educator but since Teaching is REGULATED and required B2 to C1 for public schools and A2 to B1 for private and international schools and my language level is still under A1. With the two conditions not affect the chance of VISA?

That's why I thinking of Data Analysis as professional skill that complements my analytical degree.

I'm seriously confused which one to stick with now. I need your further advice and others advice too.

Thanks you all.

I mistakenly filled in 'medical/paramedic' on my Vindex form, but I am actually working as a medical sales representative with a degree in Anatomy. I am already at the preliminary review stage and I don't know if this will cause a problem with my application
Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Onuchijioke: 11:19am On Feb 25
True it's regulated ,that should have a language skill challenge if otherwise I don't know.all the best.

It's related, nothing to bother about. You can defend it on your interview date if any question arises- you studied anatomy (medical course), you work in medical sales.

Calm down 😉

Good to hear, please can you post the link you used for appointment booking.

Please I also want to ask if the link can be used for the general family reunion appointments booking or it's only for chancenkarte applicants.

If so, please I will appreciate it if someone can send the link for family reunion appointment booking. Thank you

Anyone who has moved to Germany and is willing to provide some tips please.

I need to understand the process and plans made + how rent was navigated. I would be grateful.
It would be really hard to rent without being in Germany or having a friend that would/could solicit for you.

But you can start making plans and applying and talking to landlords on ImmobilienScout24 app, but its for mostly single owner homes . if you are new i wont advise that as you dont have a feeling of how things should go. You would need different documents and alot of structural/time wasting procedures, some landlords could also be scams, and most apartments dont come with Kitchen, you'd have to know the difference between Kaltmiete / Warmmiete (cold and warm rent) have to handle Strom (Electricity) separately and also have to pay for radio bill and wifi alone, thats a whole lot for a newbie, especially if you aren’t packing to enter Germany, you wont want to spend and stress that much on your first round except living alone and comfort is your no play area.

Best and Quickest option is to go for WG‘s by using the app wg-gesucht.[img][/img]

Its mostly current home owners or landlords who put out rooms for rent, less overhead and structural stress and most non racists would take you in if you vibe with them, its relatively cheaper and you pay one bill that covers everything, your room, electricity, wifi, etc.
Downside is you won’t enjoy privacy in common areas and a dirty flatmate is annoying but hey thats the tradeoff.

Id always advise everyone to start with a WG (Wohngemeinschaft / Shared-living), then balance and know the country, work well, be grounded then after 6 months or more you can take up your own personal home from a better leverage point. You can start organizing appointments in wg-gesucht even before leaving Nigeria, target rooms/posts that are looking for people from now not future dates, and if you find one and pass the vibe check of flatmates in some cases, you can pack in instantly or at most the next day that solves your issue, a place to rest without stressing your head

You can use it but you’ll end up getting sent back at the embassy, don’t try to bypass the process.

Good morning all, please I have a situation currently with my application.
I joined the waiting list Aug 6th last year and was told to submit my documents last week(10 days ago).
Attached is a screenshot from my dashboard requesting that I should upload a language proficiency cert.
Please I need clarification based on this. I have not heard of anyone who applied as a skilled worker(vocational) who was asked for language proficiency cert or did i miss that info??

I am using my National Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering (Automotive) and have already gotten my ZAB.

PLEASE

Did they asked you after submission? during preliminary review? did they give you deadline? how do you know you are a skilled worker? doing ZAB alone is not enough, are you sure you did ZAB or DAB? only a university degree automatically make you a skilled worker, for people using ND or HND i think you have to do recognition, Anyone who used ND/HND here Should help you with info

Your accumulated point is not enough.

Do a self-test again on their website.

Thanks for your reply;
Am currently doing my preliminary review. I saw a section demanding I should upload a language proficiency cert.
I went through the recognition process and was issued ZAB last year; where I uploaded my ND cert and it's transcript and paid €150.
The deadline is 21 days as of this morning.

I have followed this thread from page 1 till now and I got enough information.
Please the course I studied is History and Diplomatic Studies and on the Annabin page, HISTORY alone is verified. Do you think I need ZAB?
Uniport??

Hi guys, the rules are getting stricter. They have been rejecting opportunity card visas on the ground of “no proof of German language ”. Stating German language is needed. If you’re not in IT related field, you may want to be very sure before applying.
