1. they successfully regionalized the war from day 1--from the gulf to cyprus
2. they successfully activated the entire axis of resistance--hez, houthis, iraqis are all in action and doing serious heavy lifting
3. they successfully closed the strait of hormuz and it has had an immediate impact on oil and gasoline prices across the planet
as of today, wholesale price of gas in the uk has almost doubled (up by 93%)
4. they are degrading the entire us military presence in the gulf and have been notching direct us casualties
5. they have successfully hammered the fragile economies of the gulf states
from the avaition/tourism industry in uae that is in tatters to the gas industry in qatar that has closed up shop
6. very importantly, iran continues to export at least 2 million barrels of oil a day while gulf export is approaching zero

they've set the pieces brilliantly

now the task is to hold the line

a. keep racking us casualties
b. keep the strait of hormuz closed and the gulf under sustained but limited barrage to eradicate their defense interceptor stockpiles and exact maximum pressure on their fragile economies

I went through all the pages from where i stopped and i was amazed at how this thread makes it look like iran is winning when its just a dying horse gasping for air

First,this isn't Voltron vs hollywood villains,it a lopsided air campaign so far.US/Israel bombarding iran military and regime out of existence
As for proxies,the PM of lebanon for the first time in history has the gut and audacity to declare Hezbollah as a terrorist organization,can you imagine that happening 2 years ago before the pager attack, israel now march into southern Lebanon undeterred,i don't see what you consider a win there,Hamas as i know is dead.Houthis so far are making threats but i havent heard of anything action from them

As for closure of strait of Hormuz,as we know its partial,for how long do you think they can maintain it with a zero navy and airforce or will they keep exposing their launch sites.Closing that strait is unrealistic in a long run and an incentives for the gulf nations to involve themselves cause definitely thats trump plan,to use them as ground troops.
