Why not just turn our men in black to state police by telling each of them to go back to their state and then turn dss to federal police.

The reason is simple.
Regardless of the insecurity and the senseless killings happening daily, these guys have a hidden agenda that must be preserved.

1. Right now, they have exclusive right and access to certain mining sites. Insecurities in those places keep the federal govt away.
2. As a result of the menace of senseless killings, Billion is voted to tackle insecurity. The government and the ruling class sit on the money.
3. The security vote released to them Is spent on nothing, they do not account for them.
With the state police in place, they have no choice than to cater to the need of the security / state police apparatus.
4. Codedly, the North has been indoctrinated to belief in the theory of conquest. So they have to preserve the Ideolgies of Usman Dan Fodio. To do so, there has to be movement from the Sahel down to the North, these guys moving down here are not from here, so they care or feel for no one. Hence yiu see them killing and maiming the residents with reckless abandon all in their bid to take over their land thus achieving the agenda of Islamisation and conquest.
5. The ruling class , highly placed elites are complicit in the insecurity going on.
All for their greed and selfish reasons.

Very good, southern governors should embrace this, if the north like let them allow their terrorists brothers finish them off in the north. Every state must not do it at same time, some northern states don't want it because they want jihadists to take over Nigeria. wow, finally some good new, I’m really loving the moves Tinubu have been taking lately, and he is really determined about achieving this state police agenda which I think is the long term solution to solving our security challenges, because our federal police are insufficient and lack the manpower to police our vast land……i heard this is one of the reasons egbetokun was forced to resign, because he was very outspoken about his views against the establishment of state police.
