Your position sizing should make 50% of your strategy. Once you get get that wrongly, you will keep blowing accounts.

Great.
I usually use between 0.3 - 0.6 lot on my 100K account but for this trade, I did 0.1, if SL is hit that's $2K loss on my side.
TP is about $5K away. We shall see.

This BTCUSD long was actually a great trade, bullish now as expected but I closed already, it'swell

BTC Longed since Sunday MARKET OPEN. Today is day 2
Day 1 went to -300PIPS, but came back to entry

I abandoned gold for now, lot of uncertainties in the air.

Will BTCUSD hit my TP (1,020.00 PIPS UP? If it does, then it is another payout cos I will stop trading for this trading cycle.

I regret closing the btc long trade I thought the momentum was too low, now I would have been around $5K profits.

Anyways, gold short is currently on 329pips

For now, US stock indices are rising and gold is falling.

This indicates one thing, risk on sentiment.

I would rather wait for sentiment to reverse before taking a long position in gold.

Short for now or staying on the sidelines makes sense.

Today, we saw London sweep Asian high and reversed (This is textbook turtle soup).

Since Nymex open and Newyork cash open, price have not been able to sweep Asian or London highs, instead, there have been downward displacement (though not aggressive), this hints at bearish continuation (or sideway market).

Likely day trading target is asian low or yesterday's low at c.$5,000.00 and stop loss above London high.

Anayways, no strategy wins 100%.

Lets see how the market plays out.

I have always believed in 100% technical analysis than fundamental, if I may, I would say 90% technical, 10% fundamental. I think Gold has seen all its peak high atm, however, technical would tell me what the news is saying.

Definitely it was technical playing big time with gold now. But I still think the bullish hasn't completely vanish.

There's likelyhood it resumes back to bullish run.

Gold entered its range since yesterday, and now officially entered it on H4 - expecting the range to continue for another full day. I have now closed my gold long at 115pips ish.

I shorted (ONLY) gold throughout today
I then stayed out of H1 and have been waiting on H4 since then.
looking at the bigger picture on Weekly TF, I really don't see why anyone should think of buying gold in the next few weeks, however brief buys are possible.
