Please I would like to know if anyone has used this to treat mange on their dogs before.

please I want to know if the shots should be daily and how many ml should be given to a puppy.

Ivermectin is administered per body weight

If u dont know your dogs body weight…:Small breeds like lhasa don't usually weight much so they should get 1ml

If u have a large breed like caucasian or german shepherd or boerboel…then u might need like 2mls

If ur large breeds is not yet grown to a full big adult then stick to 0.5mls if they are still small or at puppy stage of 1mimth…but if they have grown a bit like over two months, 1ml should be okay

If u administer today…..administer 1.5 or two weeks later… but if the parasite infestation is very high… u can do 1week interval…


If u dint know how to inject dog.. call a vet oooo…. Its not the same with human that u will just stab the buttoks oooo

You could have just advised him to call a vet and not administer himself, but no you chose to give him instructions that might get his dog killed and then ended it with “ If u dint know how to inject dog.. call a vet oooo…. Its not the same with human that u will just stab the buttoks oooo”

With all the information you gave do you think he would still contact a vet, it is totally wrong to self medicate a dog when you’re not a veterinary doctor.

thanks so much sir, the puppy is a German shepherd, 4 months. The confusion is that the pack said 0.5ml for 25kg body weight. Should I still give 1ml if he's mot up to 25kg?

I know how to inject, it's just that I'm having confusion with this particular ivermectin since it's my first time using it.

Yawn!! Are u a medical doctor?? Lie say u never self medicate before in your life? Dey deceive yourself…dey form compliance officer….

See…. Being able to know and do some basic things might just be a life saving move…but pple like you know this but like to form compliance manager.

i gave him both options because he might not have access to a vet and might have been doing it before now for someone that already has ivermectin at hand

Mange is crazy… my dog lost all her fur looking like chicken that has been de-feathered, but recovered well
