1.5m per month? Wow, there's been speculations of it being around 90m per annum, like 7.5m per month. LOL
Lol. So let's say annual salary was actually 90M, you believe you would get everything as a monthly pay? At least 40m of that amount would come as benefits, allowances, and bonuses. So the maths is not mathing

Na him accomplice be this one, nice speech but I'm not moved.
Lol Accomplice indeed.

If you are not moved it's definitely okay. I won't even talk about it again😅

I will just laugh at the drama I will keep seeing.

My concern is just the next mail.
Whether I pass or not. And further process ahead

But I'm still surprised that up till now many airsaylongconers cannot explain why their oga used AI to explain CEB and SHL.

@NLNGOFFERLETTER

I’m honestly surprised you contributed and identified yourself as an “insider”. That “dirty” job is often left to “outsiders”. Please prioritise your job safety. Apologies to you and every and anyone else that my back-and-forth upset. I was purposely obtuse about the SHL MAP. But you are right in what you say about it. That document was from 10 maybe 11 years before you sat for your AC. Maybe 3 years before mine.

Loads of stuff I’ve purposely held back information on. Anyways thanks for been blunt and hinting that you were (almost) upset at me for the exchange. I’m guessing many other people were, but just don’t want to mention it. Stay safe. And stay quiet if you have to. The “community” will understand why.

Peace out
Yes, I too am upset at you sir😁. But apologies accepted ☺️

Someone I know said he was told by someone working there that it's like 1.5 Million per month. Around last year and bonuses. Someone else reported it was around 2 Million per month now.

However I don't know the total
Hope this is helpful

But Honestly that has annoyed me too how it's like it's a taboo. You are expected to negotiate salary but you won't find any concrete info on the Salary so you end up under negotiating.
Like how Google/AI suggests like max of 1M and a company can be offering 2M and you give salary expectation of 1M😅😅

Or if AI hypes it and you say 1M while that company pays 500M.

Though most times negotiating doesn't retract the offer unless you reject it so it's not much of an issue but can lead to some underpaying you.
Searching Salary is pain online
There’s no way NLNG pays 1.5 or 2m per month
Aradel that got serious less than 5 years ago pays 1.5m to graduate trainees

Smh! SMH! SMH!!!

Guys, that link is page two of the offer letter. Some 2022 GT decided to leak theirs. That’s what you get from day 1.
I think I saw that offer letter before 2022 o

I mean, a “sober” me would have been upset at me. Almost 24hrs awake+insomnia does have its impact.

Anyway I went dumpster diving in my archive from back then and stumbled across the following. At least I’m certain I wasn’t hallucinating that I laid hands on some very specific, publicly available (at the time) materials. I was a pro at combing the entire internet for AC materials back in the day. The most “annoying” thing for me then was that I had absolutely no understanding of the SHL MAP or what to make of it.

North of 2M it means more than 2M but the amount is unknown.

And of course, it's not even up for a discourse because of safety and NDA reasons.

That is fair boss
I think what we can all agree on is the pay is miles better than what 90% of aspirants currently earn
So whatever it is, you can be sure it will be mouth watering; IF you get it
For comparison, Seplat pays 3.2m monthly to GT, and I expect NLNG to pay better than that

Truth is, no GT will come here and mention the specific figure for safety, security and privacy reasons. When asked where I was working when I was there, I would say “I work for a company that sells gas”. Anyhow them interpret am na dem sabi. Most people assumed it was roadside LPG retail company and I was happy for them to think that

Oga Airsay Sir, I dare say that you've proven yourself more than normal to anyone on this thread as regards this particular job. This is not even a matter of a decade. So, nobody, I repeat no one can come from anywhere to rubbish or make anyone here believe that you are false or fake. If the so called Joblever AI person has the time, he or she should go to the 2013 and 2022 thread and see for themselves. The threads are all there live and active. No need to talk much or long.

airsaylongcome:
Roger that. I’m pissed at the long back and forth (apologies everyone for blowing up your thread with nothing).

However I’ve had an itch to scratch with “it” and blowing its AI cover to see its real responses provided some “relief” from that itch. Now I know it’s real face.

Again, sorry everyone for a whole page of wasted exchange.

Way better than what most people earn now. I remember GT colleagues saying their managers told them “Abeg if anything open up there, let me know o”. People with years of experience were dropping all of it to go and be a GT at NLNG. The USD equivalent at the time was insane! I will not mention it because I know it’s lower now because of Naira weakening. But it’s still loud

lol! Thanks. Like I say, I’m getting older and things about the process are getting foggy. I’m in the unique position of having gone through the entire process beginning to end, and since I’m no longer in the system, I’m not as “shackled” about discussing my experience. So I can “dump” as much as I can so that subsequent prospective GTs have something to work with. Cream always rises to the top, so the cream of the prospective GTs will have that little push to become “superstars” during the assessment.

NNPC is not as loud and yet big 4 senior associates and assistant managers accepted its GT offers last year lol

On your last sentence, I thought the pay was in dollars and the naira equivalent keeps increasing as the naira weakens

No o! Your offer is in Naira. I can’t recall exactly now if they were Senior Associates, but a handful of big 4 folks left the big 4 for GT. Banking too lost a very good number

Yes the offer is stated in naira
But the oil and gas industry pay is benchmarked against the dollar since revenue is in dollars?

Now let's go back to the e-book, you posted an e-book filled with scenarios yet no solutions about how a candidate can constructively answer those scenarios, I referred applicants to study guide (https://selar.com/nlngassessmentcenter) with respect to Assessment Center that contains practice scenario questions and how candidates can answer these questions and you all collectively condemned it, I'm extremely disappointed, you don't have access to the resources you have not even seen it yet you are condemning it, like who does that, I am not understanding at all.
Note, I'm not taking sides. I gullibly bought your materials probably few days after the SHL's, and I must say that I was utterly disappointed. Apparently AI generated, no exhaustive or detailed explanation, guide or info. Take this as feedback, rather than fighting back: you could do better with the material - learn from those who have truly undergone the process, and develop your contents from their experiences ( however, in a professional manner).

I’m sure they’d be benchmarking against their peers. Understand though that I can’t really say much around this because when I was offered, had never earned that kind of money in my life. I didn’t even consider saying no. My entire focus was how to respond with a “sweet sounding” yes I accept quickly and whether I can start the morning after receiving the offer.

🤣🤣
No one would blame you for that reaction
Overall, the lesson is not to focus on the pay, but on how to get in
