2015 corolla is not popular on any Nigerian road. Before you see one 2015 corolla, you don see like 50 Es350, 25 Spider, 7 mercedes C series, etc

Ok I won't try to generalize here. But as much as south east is concerned, es350 is currently the most popular around. The ratio to 2015 corolla is like 500-1.

While in the north, honda accord is still more popular than corolla.

Yaris in which Benin? Mini bus is even more popular than Yaris in Benin if we are talking about commercial purposes because I have never seen anyone in Benin who owns a Yaris for personal and not commercial purposes.

Alot of Nigerians, including me doesn't feel it's worth it buying a salon car for an amount that would buy them a jeep.
Instead of using 16m to buy a 2015 corolla, I would prefer to buy a 2012 Highlander

Yes na, except one is fanatic about a particular model of car or work related, it's a waste of money buying sedan/salon at such price when you can get a SUV that will give you more prestige and still help you navigate our bad roads better

Almost all the HQ of most organisations in Nigeria are domiciled in Lagos.

Most corporate organisations prefer Toyotas for their official cars because of their suitability for the Nigerian terrain.

The question shouldn't be why the car is popular, but why HQs of organisations should be located in Lagos.

This practice creates uneven economic development, migration pressure, infrastructure strain, and underdevelopment of other cities.

Mobil's operational base is in Akwa Ibom, while their HQ is located far away in Lagos state.

The VAT reform that the government promised to implement to address part of these issues, has it been implemented?

Before you see one Yaris for Benin, you go don see like 10 es330, 5 Rx330, 2 GLK, etc…. I de use Ringroad, Airport Road, Ekenwan Road and Sapele road as a case study.

OP this car isn't popular I rarely see it here in lagos except on Mondays when everyone's going out. Before you see this car n a normal day, you would have seen hundred camry, lexus, accord etc.
