Man Erroneously Got ₦1M Into Account, Refused To Return It Despite ₦100k Offer by Lord12345(op): 3:00pm On Mar 07
‎A man mistakenly credited ₦1 million to his Opay account has been apprehended by security operatives after refusing to refund the money.
‎The incident was shared by an X user, @yk-xiany, who disclosed that the incident occurred last month.

‎Man Apprehended By Security operatives
‎According to the X user, the company’s management offered the man ₦100,000 from the ₦1 million mistakenly credited to his account.

‎Despite the offer, the man insisted on not refunding the money.

‎Sharing how the man was caught @yk-xiany narrated, “He thought he could get away with the money but they where able to trace his recent calls to two numbers one was his mum the other his girlfriend the police traced the two numbers and were able to catch him”.

‎After being apprehended, it was discovered the man had used ₦300,000 from the money to purchase a phone.


Meanwhile, the man, whose identity remains unknown, is expected to refund the money and pay damages.

The worst part is that he still won't use the money wisely if they dashed him.
