If the repentance is true, then yes they will be forgiven especially if they turn from their wicked ways. It is not our call to decide the fate of our fellow man for we also have fallen short of the glory of GOD.

Sin is disobedience of GOD. I can tell you the first occurrence i.e., Eve but what was the cause of it? I am not sure.

If the repentance is true, yes. GOD is merciful. Without mercy we would be subject to justice i.e., death.

If sin is disobedience to God,then living in Christ Jesus (in the spirit) is obedience to God...,so therefore we don't live in sin but on the grace that abound in living in Christ Jesus which brings about life and peace and not Condemnation.
