Next stop is $150per barrel.
It will get to over $300 this time, and if they can make 1L of petrol more expensive than 1 bag of cement, they will do it

DT and his cronies are making b*stard generational money from this war. I can’t be convinced otherwise.
That is why they kidnapped Maduro and took over Venezuela oil industry indefinitely. They are cashing out big time while people thinking jihad, ww3, end times...nonsense. These men dey carry everybody general market grin

The question was not if Canada or Norway can live without oil, but whether they would benefit, and the short answer is yes. Again, no one says Venezuela would pay all its debts. Very few countries are debt-free, but every extra dollar is a huge benefit.
Your last sentence also implies Nigeria would benefit from oil price increases too.

werey, hope you will be traveling to Israel or USA by next week because the long queue that will happen in Nigeria by next week will triple this one..I don't know why a particular leader will leave his country to go and attack another country if that's not madness
There won’t be long queues in Nigeria for now but the price of fuel will definitely rise more

No long lines are coming to Nigeria.
Attacked them because they refused to stop enriching nuclear-bomb extent uranium
If Iran had nuclear bomb, do you think Donald Trump would dare attack them directly and brag about it?

If Israel and US do not attack them, do you think this fake inflation because of high oil prices will happen?

I say Iran should waste no time to develop their bomb. At this point, it is very important to protect the world economy from the criminals in Israel and the White house.

That's 1.5 billion write off. Still leaves 98 billion dollars to go.

Like I said , I'm not here to blast government past and present. Just here to show you why the oil windfall isn't going to benefit Nigerians.

We got to diversify our economy . No ifs no buts. Whoever is in charge.
It will benefit us tremendously. Nigeria will make more money from oil sales at the end of the day

I expect a citizen-centric government to sell cheaper crude to Dangote at this crucial period for local consumption. Afterall, Dangote supply can be tracked since he is the one handling the disribution. Diversion to other countries can be controlled.

But then, we only have tax collector as leaders whose only language is - "how to generate revenue" and "how to generate more and more revenues". They are allegic to " how are the living conditions of the citizens?".
What you just described now is subsidy

NNPC or any other oil company in Nigeria cannot sell cheaper to any refinery whether local or foreign

As Nigeria is a member of OPEC
The only thing Nigerian government can do is to cover the remaining costs of the oil so NNPC or any other oil company can sell it cheaper to dangote

It’s called subsidy

Which still have to go to pay off debts

Plus, we need oil, based on amount we produce, and our populaiton, to be above 150 dollars per barrel. And it has to be sustained for a period of time

My happiness is that, the crude price is now above $100/b and we don't pay subsidy. Now we should be having excess revenue as the price is above budget benchmark.

I want to see what this current govt will do with the excess cash or they will shamelessly still borrow as the accused GEJ of mismanagement even when he was paying subsidy and still managed to keep the fx low

The girls school was the first target, it was purely a satanic sacrifice of Virgin girls for the success of the war.
Una dey talk satan and virgin girls meanwhile 17 year old Trump pikin bought 30 million USD worth of crude oil before the bombs in Iran. Do you have any idea how much money the Trump family has made today as you are reading this?

And people wonder why poverty never leaves their life. Keep on talking about satan and virgins while rich people make more money from your lack of attention to what really matters.

Nigeria should but with the kind of leaders we have, nothing good ever happens in Nigeria, so I don't know. But I am sure our politicians would benefit heavily.

Watch and see if it will improve our economy or currency. Russia and other oil producing countries are having erections right now as the surge in demand along with the heavy cash will fill their cuffers.
But for we here in naija it must always be pain, before you could argue that since we do not have a functioning refinaries we will have to import petrol at high price thereby negating any benefits. Today we have dangote refinary so what is the excuse? There is no reason our reserves should not hit 70b, no reason too that naira should not appreciate to atleast 500 to $1 sharp sharp!

This war will last for a long time so dont worry. We are on the right path... make them continue to bomb themselves, we go dey alright.

After all, nothing concern us for Nigeria with their alahu akbar and promised land wey dem dey fight since wen I no know.

Good one bro...that was cool. One of Trump's grandkids bought 30 million USD worth of oil before...my brother... before this rally. Press am for calculator, some calculators sef fit no count the money wey this pikin go don make. Now that is only ONE TRANSACTION wey we don hear. Trump family don hammer and only the wise ones are making money this period.

You have a vehicle .....keep it filled ...fuel price will keep rising. Israel attacked Iran s oil facility ...Iran is taking out oil facilities in Israel and those owned by the US in the region...so what should we expect? The price of oil will go through the roof ...Nigeria will be raking in forex .,but ...will it go into the foreign reserves...or ........ someone's pocket?

Ignorance is not bliss o. Oil money is not just money. The dying world reserve currency, US dollars, is pegged against oil. Oil proceeds is the biggest source of fund for US debt and stock market. It goes down, US will likely default in it's debt of around $34 trillion and the US economy SHALL collapse, dragging down into severe economic most nations that have not decoupled from the US economy and holding huge US bonds.

Iranians are not stupid. In fact, they have proven to be way smarter than the Americans. This was why Trump's own generals initially counselled him against going to war with Iran but he want to use Iran's war to save himself from being impeached and going to jail.

It is this your kind of obscene ignorance and lack of humility to learn that Trump displayed and now putting human civilization in real jeopardy
Iranians are not stupid, but it’s important to acknowledge that they are currently the ones bearing the heaviest cost of the war. Reports indicate that over 1,200 people have already been killed, and the number continues to rise. Behind these numbers are grieving families, destroyed communities, and a nation struggling with growing loss.

The damage goes far beyond casualties. Oil facilities, weapon bunkers, and key infrastructure have been bombed, weakening both Iran’s strategic capacity and its economy. Thousands of families have also been displaced, leaving many homeless and uncertain about their future.

Even more alarming is the situation in Tehran, where strikes on oil storage sites have left the capital covered in thick smoke and toxic fumes. Several news reports say the air has become dangerous for residents, forcing many to stay indoors due to the risk of pollution and respiratory problems.

In the end, wars are often discussed in terms of power and strategy, but the real impact is on ordinary people. Right now, Iranians are paying a heavy price — through loss of lives, destroyed homes, toxic air, and a severely damaged economy. Quoted- Financial times and Ajazeera

You are a newbie in geopolitics.

Don’t focus on the local, focus on the international impact. What do you think is spiking oil prices?

Be patient! It will go ground! This time next week, your narration will change.
Damn..... This nigga so dumb his brain hurts anytime he tries to think.... Whose economy is crumbling, whose currencies is plummeting.... You lack even the simplest of comprehension of international politics.... The US dollar is a safe haven currency designed to get stronger during periods of global unrest.... The dollar gets stronger as the war drags on.... The effects is So small in the US that it is hardly felt compared to Iran and the rest of the world..... I know you are ignorant of these facts but ignorance shouldn't be your excuse
