You and your friends have dared USA and Israel so many countless times and whenever they complete your dare, Una go quickly change goalpost. Maybe after USA successfully escort tanker or ship out of Strait of Hormuz, the next dare will be for them to put troops inside Iran

I don't know where you are getting your data from, but I beg to disagree with you that things will get worse.
We have more existing customers moving to Solar power and even new houses being built are equipped with solar panels and inverters.
I said You are making excuse for failure you said no, but you are literally doubling down on your initial post without telling us what exactly Adelabu whom you are holding brief for has done either improve power generation or power transmission. I take it that you are not speaking from the position of deep knowledge of Adelabu's efforts to make things better, rather you are speaking as someone who has already conditioned his mind to accept things will get worse even if a power sector technocrat replaces Adelabu.
We know he sold the idea that things will get better once people pay more, but the opposite has been the case.

Can you please tell us what and what he has done to improve our lot but those efforts have defied the odds?
Probably because he has seen the numerous technocrats and non technocrats who have run the power industry for the last 65yrs only to have 5000KW to show

Talking about the technocrats who have been minister of power in the past 15yrs alone we have had
Saleh Mamman had a degree in Electrical Engineering what was the end result, Chinedu Nebo is a Professor of Engineering what was the end result, Barth Nnaji is a technocrat, what was the end result, Lanre Babalola has a PhD in Energy Economics what was the end result

The sum total of all of their technocracy is 5000KW for a country of 200m

There's no need to misinform the public that Iran airforce lost 16 military aircraft whereas the said aircraft are commercial/civilian aircraft. That's idf bomb commercial airport and destroyed the planes parked there.

There is a reason why historians distinguish between military and civilian target.

Ali declared a public fatwa on nuclear weapons. This baba has no such scruples.
Plus most of his family has been killed. I wonder what that's done to his mind.
As regards Israel, in the early 2000s when they were hammering Hezbollah, nearly the entire world was united against those guys.
Now check the number and ferocity of free Palestine protests worldwide. Even in sport
And this is despite the fact that the average Palestinian wants to wipe out the state of Israel from existence.
The last Khameni didn't have a fatwa on arming Houthis Hamas and Hezbollah did he? He didnt have a fatwa on "Death to America the bigger satan and Death to Israel the smaller satan"

As regards Israel, the world and George W Bush pressed Israel to vacate the whole of Gaza for the Palestinians and what did they get in return, Hamas turned Gaza into a hotbed of launching terror attack on Israel using all the infrastructure built in Gaza, the funding for aid and everything to terrorize Israel

All those Free Palestine people are the same bored Free Maduro, Globalize the intifada people who have little perspective about ideological driven people who have their eyes on a bigger prize of overrunning the West

Ask all of them, their overarching desire is the fall of the west

If the Iranian regime survive. That's winning.
If they survive, then surely they're going to acquire nuke, another winning.
If they survive, they will test ICBM. Massive winning.
Build stronger military partnership with China and Russia.

I expect Simi and Adekunle gold to do whatever they can within their power to deal with a banger boy that posted about alleged death of their daugther Deja.

The yeye guy while farming Elon Musk's money made a post alleging the young girl passed away. He probably thought the word "allegedly" would save him while making such expensive joke.

As of yesterday evening the guy's personal details had been dug out by people on Twitter, it's now left for AG and wife to do whatever they please with him. Maybe na him go pay for all the trolling the couple has endured this past few weeks.

I think you may have misunderstood my position.
I’m not “holding brief” for Adelabu, and I’m certainly not saying Nigerians should accept failure. My point is simply about the scale of the structural problem in the power sector.
Reports show that Nigeria has been transmitting roughly around 4,000 MW since about 2010. Now we are in 2026,about 16 years later, after massive population growth and development. Do we honestly expect that same capacity to still be sufficient for today’s demand?
Naturally, demand has increased significantly, yet the grid capacity has not expanded proportionally.
Even if Adelabu introduces another pricing structure tomorrow, let’s say a new Band system where electricity costs even ₦2000 per unit, without adding significant megawatts to the national grid, the fundamental problem will still persist.
Pricing reforms alone cannot manufacture electricity.
You also mentioned solar adoption. In reality, the growing shift to solar actually confirms that the national grid is under severe pressure, because people are looking for alternatives outside the system.
Even if Nigeria were to bring one million power technocrats into the country today, will they arrive with 20,000 megawatts of electricity in their luggage? Of course not. They would still have to start with the same limited megawatts currently available on the grid.

There is a Yoruba adage that captures this situation well:
“Amúkùún ẹrù ẹ wò.”
And the reply is: “Òkè l’ẹ̀ ń wo, ẹ ò wo ìsàlẹ̀.”
In other words, people often look only at the surface of the problem, without considering the deeper underlying issues.
So my point remains simple: Nigeria’s power crisis will likely continue to worsen unless there is a significant increase in megawatts added to the national grid. Demand for electricity keeps rising as the population grows, more development that use power yet the supply capacity has barely expanded, until Nigeria significantly increases generation and transmission capacity, the electricity problem will remain difficult for any minister to solve, No matter how competent or experienced the Minister of Power may be,whether it is Adelabu or anyone else, the outcome will not fundamentally change without major additions of megawatts to the grid.

The real solution lies not in personalities, but in massive investment and expansion of power infrastructure.

Gloriuosgbola I heard 210 trillion Naira is missing in NNPCL.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/862237-n210trn-mirage-how-wadadas-claim-on-nnpcl-collapses-under-simple-arithmetic-by-kingsley-ade-adegbite.html
The ₦210 trillion discrepancy claim does not align with Nigeria’s fiscal realities, the governance structure of NNPC or the financial mechanics of joint venture accounting. What initially appears as a monumental financial scandal quickly dissolves into a phantom figure, one that sits more comfortably in political rhetoric than in verifiable financial records. Nigeria deserves serious oversight backed by evidence and competence.

In Nigeria’s already fragile information environment, numbers have enormous power. When a public official declares that ₦210 trillion has gone missing, the figure is large enough to shock citizens, dominate headlines and inflame public anger. That is precisely why such claims must be handled with care and responsibility.

Unfortunately, Senator Ahmed Wadada’s allegation of ₦210 trillion discrepancies in the accounts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) collapses under even the most basic scrutiny.

Once the arithmetic, institutional structure and financial context are examined, the claim begins to look less like forensic oversight and more like a case of political theatre designed to play to the gallery.

A Number That Defies Economic Reality

Let’s start with the number itself. ₦210 trillion is not just large. It is astronomical within the context of Nigeria’s economy. Between 2017 and 2020, Nigeria’s entire federal budget ranged roughly between ₦7 trillion and ₦10 trillion annually, only rising significantly in later years. Even in recent budgets, national spending has struggled to cross ₦20 trillion.

In simple terms, the allegation suggests that a single government company somehow misplaced an amount several times larger than Nigeria’s annual national budget for multiple years combined. For such a claim to hold water, NNPCL would have had to generate, move and lose sums of money exceeding the fiscal capacity of the Nigerian state itself.

That is not oversight. That is arithmetic that simply does not add up.

Anyone familiar with Nigeria’s public finance architecture would immediately recognise that the figure fails the most elementary plausibility test.

A Misreading of NNPC’s Structure

Beyond the questionable numbers, the allegation betrays a deeper misunderstanding of how the national oil company operates. The entity referenced in the senator’s remarks, formerly NAPIMS, now NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services Limited (NUIMS), is not an independent financial authority operating outside the supervision of NNPC headquarters.

NUIMS is an internal investment management arm responsible for administering Nigeria’s upstream joint venture interests. Its financial activities operate within multiple layers of governance, including NNPC corporate approvals, joint venture partner oversight, approved work programmes, budget authorisations and regulatory supervision.

There is simply no operational pathway through which NUIMS could independently disburse tens or hundreds of trillions of naira outside corporate control and international partner scrutiny. To suggest otherwise is to imply that global oil companies, auditors, regulators and boards somehow failed to notice the disappearance of funds larger than Nigeria’s national budgets.

That is a scenario that belongs in fiction, not financial analysis.
Where our white boy oyibo pepper CFO to knock the mass comm graduate senator for head?

Honestly, I was so angry and can't even describe the extent I would go to see the guy treated worse than a terrorist If I were to be the victim of such tweet as a parent.

Of all things he can think of to troll them about, he actually thought of that. It's even crazy because the guy in question is a full grown man in his 30's and not some misguided underage dealing with youthful exuberance. A 33 year old man for that matter.

16 civilian aircraft is different from 16 military aircraft.

Almost all Iranian airforce fighter jets are hidden in underground hanger. In this war, their use are limited because Iranian military doctrine are not built around their airforce unlike the Israeli & US.
