Honestly, I was so angry and can't even describe the extent I would go to see the guy treated worse than a terrorist If I were to be the victim of such tweet as a parent.

Of all things he can think of to troll them about, he actually thought of that. It's even crazy because the guy in question is a full grown man in his 30's and not some misguided underage dealing with youthful exuberance. A 33 year old man for that matter.
Some things dey na street levels dem dey take resolve am. You think you can be stuppidd, Well let all of us join and show ourselves. Some people forget there is a real life where they live. It wont cot AG 50K to settle some boys in that guys area to beat am up

Gloriousgbola I also heard that Minister of State for Finance that was sacked recently cannot account for 1.15 trillion Naira
my man you need to read - the woman was redployed

https://www.thecable.ng/from-senior-to-junior-minister-doris-uzoka-anite-moved-to-third-ministry-in-three-years/

https://www.thisdaylive.com/2026/03/08/doris-uzoka-anite-the-journey-woman/

Her federal appointment began in August 2023 as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment. That was a substantive, senior cabinet role. During that period, she relaunched the national trade policy and was credited with helping to attract significant foreign investment commitments.

In October 2024, she was reassigned as Minister of State for Finance, a junior role under the coordinating minister, Wale Edun. There, she chaired meetings of the Federation Account Allocation Committee, which oversees the distribution of revenue to federal, state, and local governments.

On March 3, 2026, she was moved again, this time to the Budget and National Planning Ministry as Minister of State. The reshuffle came shortly after a tense budget defence session at the National Assembly, where questions were raised about over N1 trillion in undisbursed capital funds. She was replaced in Finance by tax reform specialist Taiwo Oyedele.

Cabinet reshuffles are common in Nigerian politics, as presidents normally reassign ministers for political balance, performance concerns, or policy direction. However, three portfolio changes in under three years, including a shift from senior to junior roles, is unusual and has drawn attention.

Supporters say her movement shows flexibility across economic sectors. Critics argue it signals dissatisfaction with her performance in top fiscal positions. The presidency maintains that she remains a valued member of the economic team.

Whether this is a matter of strategic redeployment or declining influence is open to interpretation. What is clear is that Uzoka-Anite’s trajectory within the cabinet has not been stable.

dont be a sensationalist like the 210 trillion man. my understanding is that the madam was sitting on her fyne yellow behind instead of disbursing funds for reasons best known to her

MorataFC:
I think you may have misunderstood my position.
I’m not “holding brief” for Adelabu, and I’m certainly not saying Nigerians should accept failure. My point is simply about the scale of the structural problem in the power sector.
Reports show that Nigeria has been transmitting roughly around 4,000 MW since about 2010. Now we are in 2026,about 16 years later, after massive population growth and development. Do we honestly expect that same capacity to still be sufficient for today’s demand?
Naturally, demand has increased significantly, yet the grid capacity has not expanded proportionally.
Even if Adelabu introduces another pricing structure tomorrow, let’s say a new Band system where electricity costs even ₦2000 per unit, without adding significant megawatts to the national grid, the fundamental problem will still persist.
Pricing reforms alone cannot manufacture electricity.
You also mentioned solar adoption. In reality, the growing shift to solar actually confirms that the national grid is under severe pressure, because people are looking for alternatives outside the system.
Even if Nigeria were to bring one million power technocrats into the country today, will they arrive with 20,000 megawatts of electricity in their luggage? Of course not. They would still have to start with the same limited megawatts currently available on the grid.

There is a Yoruba adage that captures this situation well:
“Amúkùún ẹrù ẹ wò.”
And the reply is: “Òkè l’ẹ̀ ń wo, ẹ ò wo ìsàlẹ̀.”
In other words, people often look only at the surface of the problem, without considering the deeper underlying issues.
So my point remains simple: Nigeria’s power crisis will likely continue to worsen unless there is a significant increase in megawatts added to the national grid. Demand for electricity keeps rising as the population grows, more development that use power yet the supply capacity has barely expanded, until Nigeria significantly increases generation and transmission capacity, the electricity problem will remain difficult for any minister to solve, No matter how competent or experienced the Minister of Power may be,whether it is Adelabu or anyone else, the outcome will not fundamentally change without major additions of megawatts to the grid.

The real solution lies not in personalities, but in massive investment and expansion of power infrastructure.
Okay, I hear u loud and clear.

But u also need to hear me; What has Adelabu done to actualize the promise his principal Tinubu made in 2022/2023 when he promised improved power supply before 2027?

2027 is just next year and we are here discussing how things have turned from bad to worse under Adelabu.

One thing is dislike is when we have all agreed in tbe past that things are not going well and We should replace current handlers with new ones who may have better ideas. Then we do, same people we all had that agreement together will suddenly start talking about how things cannot get better even if we change people over and over again ( which seem to suggest we should make do with the current failures who only got there because we displeased the previous failures)

This right here is why I would not subscribe to any attempt to make it seem like the current state of governance we have under APC is the best we can get even when they got there only because we kicked PDP out for not being as terrible as this.

Believe any politician at your own peril.
I will never believe any of them again.
I personally campaigned and canvassed for Dapo, against Amosun candidates, simply because his people came to us with sweet promises. Besides that, we come from the same town, which made it easier for me to support him.
I even spent my own money during the campaign (abeg, I won’t say more than that).
But in the end, he turned out to be one of the worst governors in the history of Ogun State. All those sweet promises he made to the people of the state never materialized.
At the end of the day, he redifined the meaning of APC

If you posit, "Disstroy ascends to POTUS or Israeli PM", I would take it as a compliment. So you know ascending to Ayatollah is a bad thing because it makes you come across as a marked terrorist?

See the point now? It puts in perspective where you stand. You don't in any universe want to ascend to the level of Okpatollah.

I think I should enlighten u here.

Seyyed Ali Khamenei, that's his real name. Ayatollah is just shia islam ranking. I've said it severally here that I'm not religious. So attaching a religious rank to me is absolutely wrong. Whether Christian or Isam ranking.. I no dey.
