Honestly if you have a visa interview this period of the ban and you cannot reschedule, don’t just bother going. It’s paining me that I wasted my time. Even tried to prepare small. Got 2 hours of sleep. Got to embassy by 6am cause my interview was 6.30. Lined up. Did my interview around after 8 and nothing. It was a waste of my time, I would have rather not even gone at all. Some people there even had hope that magically they will receive the visa even while clearly seeing interviewers telling people there is a full ban |

Don't hold your breath bro. He will be back soon, under another username, and pretend he is not Efe but it will be obvious that it is him. He has had multiple usernames here over the past couple of years. AdisaMighty: |

Gu Lekan2348:So sorry about your experience. Thank you for sharing it. Does it mean you have to pay again? Usually the white paper signified approval. Did they give anyone another colour or everyone got the white paper? |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Spanishmilf(m): 9:57pm On Feb 26 |
is it possible trump suspend the ban or the full 180 days will be completed |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Lekan2348: 10:25pm On Feb 26*. Modified: 1:36am On Feb 27 |
flourishing247:Like i explained earlier, the white paper being received means that you’re qualified, you’re approved, same thing but what is written on the paper is the fact that they can’t issue you visa because of the ban. So you have to apply again and interview again when the ban is lifted. And to apply again you have to pay again and schedule interview again from scratch. |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by flourishing247: 5:43am On Feb 27 |
Lekan2348:Na wa ooo. They should have just suspended interviews and resume later. The application is not cheap. |

Lekan2348:Thanks for sharing your experience. This is clearer now. |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by glorious23: 2:56pm On Feb 27 |
Sigh. Thanks for the update. Mine is in a few weeks, I have tried rescheduling but no date available. I think it’s so bad & fraudulent to continue to do the interviews when they know there is a ban; the proper thing is to postpone since they won’t refund. Lekan2348: |

Lekan2348:Thank you for this first hand information! Just what we needed |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by jenifer007: 10:43am On Feb 28 |
Lekan2348:Sorry about your experience Since you were given the white paper, why didn't the VO request for you to pay bond since they added Nigeria to the bond list. |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Lekan2348: 3:37pm On Feb 28 |
jenifer007:Because they said there is a complete ban on b1/b2 and f1. The white paper signifies that based on the interview, you are qualified but due to the ban, visa can’t be issued to you. It explains the whole visa ban proclamation. And that yiu have to apply again when the ban is lifted |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by nuttycaptain: 10:00pm On Mar 02 |
Lekan2348:Seems the I94 is only valid for 30 days now. Checked their website and "admitted until date" shows 30 days after entry. |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by MsAnonymous: 3:19pm On Mar 08 |
Hi Entry date was 3rd week in Feb 2026 They didn’t stamp me in. The guy just looked at my passport and my B1/B2 visa page and handed it back to me. The passport was not scanned n it was not stamped. He just asked me to go ahead n enjoy my holiday. I told him verbally I was staying for 2 wks. My passport was also not stamped when I was leaving the USA tociano009: |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Debbieeeeeee(op): 6:18pm On Mar 08 |
MsAnonymous:Your I-94 will show how long you were recorded as being stamped in, and since your entry was smooth, it’s most likely the typical duration. |

If I know Efe very well, he will still come here and push a counter argument against what Lekan who has gone there and has first hand experience has said. Some people argue and just always want to seem right as if there’s a trophy on the table. It’s well shaa |

So I had my interview today, was unable to reschedule cause my payment was made in 2024 and it has expired. Literally no one was given a visa, old, young, family, couple...nobody and over 25 people were before me. The only people given while I was there were an Indian couple and I think it's because it's not a Nigerian passport. Their responses for everyone was that we do not qualify and there's a ban on nigerian passports. Even those going for conferences and 1 lady for f1 visa, we were all denied. I also noticed 2 family that were questioned for over 20mins for immigrant visas, they were not given. So my advice is that you wait till the ban is lifted, that was literally what we were all told. Good luck to everyone. |

This is heart breaking. Mitan7: |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Taal17: 9:39pm On Mar 11 |
MsAnonymous:Just say to see her grandchild, not to take care of anyone that's considered work As long as she has a valid visa she can travel. Let her return be short pls like 1 month or 6 weeks. Cos you don't know how many weeks they will put on her i94 |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Taal17: 9:43pm On Mar 11 |
Mitan7:Fortunately for those with immigrant visas because it is the consulate that schedules their interview date, once they are interviewed they won't be interviewed again So when the ban on immigrant visas is lifted they would just be asked to submit their passports. |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Lekan2348: 12:35pm On Mar 12 |
Mitan7:Exactly what I said. It’s better not to even go at all. It’s better you don’t show than for you to go and then have some sort of denial on your record. Plus the stress and effort to reach the embassy and wait time isn’t worth it. To think that while I was there on the line visibly seeing everyone getting denied, people behind me were praying and being hopeful they will be given visa even though we could all here the interviewers saying there is a complete ban and no visa will be issued. Saying this so we all know here that nobody is you going to magically receive a visa by chance during this ban😂 no need to be hopeful or whatever. Don’t just bother going lol |

Wow its been a while I hopped in here, my 5 years visa will expire in 2028. The current economy is pushing me away from travelling. @Justwise thank you for getting rid of Efe! He has been reincarnating with different names but I already know his handwriting. Pls permanent his ban! The current visa ban is really a tough moment for Nigerians, we never had it this bad from America, I hope the ban will be lifted soon. |

Hello everyone, so I have my visa appointment in a month's time. Is it advised that i don't go? Unfortunately i cannot reschedule cuz i paid since 2024. I will appreciate any advise |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Taal17: 8:48pm On Mar 17 |
Prettymundne:It's your choice The ban is in effect so it's highly unlikely you will be issued.a visa. Even then if issued you could be asked to pay a bond |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by jenifer007: 10:03pm On Mar 17 |
Prettymundne:Don't bother going.... You will be denied cos the ban is still ongoing... Don't rely on bond. |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Mitan7: 12:10am On Mar 18 |
I wish I didn't go sef cause applying again when the ban is lifted, you'll have to really convince them on what has changed from your previous application Lekan2348: |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by MsAnonymous: 8:18am On Mar 19 |
Don’t go o Prettymundne: |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Lekan2348: 12:31pm On Mar 19 |
Taal17:It is not highly unlikely that you will be issued a visa. YOU WILL NOT BE ISSUED A VISA 😂 it is certain that you will not be issued a visa as far as the ban is still on during your interview. Do not inconvenience yourself going |
| Re: USA Visit Visa Part 6 by Prettymundne(f): 4:57pm On Mar 19 |
jenifer007:Thank you, everyone. Let me look elsewhere to spend my holiday. I will try again when and if the ban is ever lifted |
