I know someone who had similar issues last year. In his own case, date of birth error. If you fly on South African Airways, no problem. Ensure to also confirm from your contact at the airport. wish you luck snowphunmee: |

Zeefaa:Depending on your financial strength ,a 3 months bank statement is required and a balance above 5M is fine ,Johannesburg is cheaper compared to Cape town |

Hi All, Considering recent videos emanating from the country where other Africans especially are targeted. I want to confirm if it's still safe to visit the country. I'll appreciate quick feedbacks. Thank you all. |

And some stubborn Nigerians are still going to south Africa as we speak.... It's better you stay home and hustle than go to south Africa. I wish you good luck. |

Mkin:There's been some escalations and media attentions cos of some recent events but these things are not new occurrences in SA and most people who live in SA wont even see or experience them Its like when boko haram was raiding northern Nigeria and most pple in South were just hearing it in the news. If you're going to SA as a tourist and you stay in the right places and dont wonder off recklessly into some local areas and townships, you wont be affected at all. Ive lived intermittently in SA since 2020 and shuffled between Jborg - Cpt and Ive never for once had issues with these locals. Please dont get me wrong, Im not downplaying the issue or overlooking the danger but if you live courteously and dont wonder off to some places, you'll be fine tbh. |

I curse anyone who will take his money to apply for any kind of visa to southafrica after witnessing the humiliation these guys are melting out to fellow back southafrica. I even saw one fool jubiliating that he got a student visa to southafrica. |

Good Afternoon Everyone, My student visa is about to expire in less than a month, and I’m in Nigeria would I be allowed back in SA ? I’m reapplying as sooon as I land and also it’s multiple entry, would it cause me any issues ? Thank you |
| Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by 080bjaked(m): 6:55pm On May 12 |
Imzadal:You can travel back before the visa expires if it is still valid and multiple entry, but you should not leave it too close. At the airport, you should carry proof of current registration/acceptance from the school, proof of accommodation, return/continuation plans if relevant, medical cover, and evidence that you intend to renew immediately. The main issue is not the multiple entry; it is the short validity left. Immigration may ask questions if the visa is expiring very soon. Ideally, you should confirm with your institution’s international office or VFS/DHA before travelling. |
