It's actually 24 years, not 16. After 2031, a region in the North may rule for 8 years, Igbo takes 8 years, another region in the North 8 years, and then, perhaps yoruba.

Well-said. I don't understand how some Nigerians reason. Even when you try refraining from insulting others, because it is never classy to hurl insult casually, some Nigerians make it hard with how they think and talk.

Nigeria is currently at the edge of a steep precipice with Fulani-led terrorism, as you stated, at the core of everything. Terrorism that is killing Nigerians physically and crippling our nation socio-economically.

There is real resentment of the North, especially their leaders arrogant demand for power when they are the main headache of Nigeria today.

Most infuriating to sensible Nigerians is how Northern leaders like Atiku do zilch to transfrom the extremely dire situation of the North for the better yet they arrogantly fight for presidential office.

Wike and Tinubu are showing that Southerners exist who will 'change' it for the arrogant, born-to-rule, hegemonistic and entitled North.

I think prediction of rotation past the next 5 to 9 years is very premature and misguided in a Nigeria drifting badly because some continue making the mistake thinking the status quo can be retained in a nation being destroyed by terrorism plus very deep and even toxic ethno-religious division.

People forget Nigeria is more or less at War. What exactly is predictable during Wartime in a nation talk less of a power rotation agreement the North itself tried to renege on when Atiku, assisted by Tabuwal and Sule Lamido etal, ran to replace Buhari in 2023?

Even before Tinubu leaves in 2031, he would have strngthened regions immeasurably to the extent the likes of the SW, that you love to hate and envy, wont care about your silly Presidency or Aso Rock any more.
