In many cases, if you manage to create just two threads, your account gets temporarily banned for hours before you are able to post again.

Even when trying to support the platform through paid advertising campaigns, the experience can be frustrating—many clicks come in, but they rarely translate into real sales. For many small businesses that once depended on Nairaland to reach customers, this situation is becoming increasingly discouraging.

It is important to remember that many small businesses started and grew on Nairaland. These businesses helped transform the forum into not only a discussion platform but also a vibrant marketplace.
