The man of the masses. may God continue to bless this man. Like i have always said, God looks at the heart before he blesses people richly. Some wicked fellows would have taken advantage of the global situation to amass more wealth to themselves. I wont mention names, we have them in the oil and gas and in the banking sectors. When those supporting this government keep saying marketers need to be on board to import petrol in order to break the monopoly of dangote I keep asking myself each time dangote keeps slashing the pump price before the marketers would follow suit....who is actually playing the game of a monopoly here? If not Dangote, and if we were still depending on imports, we won't see fuel and diesel at all, scarcity gives room to black market, black market is worse.

I don't seem to understand what Dangote Refinery is actually up to. But some games are going on low-key, trust me.

..if not for dangote with this Iran USA war causing increase in crude oil price we will be buying fuel at 2500 naira per litre and they would had been scarcity of fuel by now due to.iran blocking the route that fuel imported by countries normally pass

Price went as high as 113$ before dropping to 80$ now, which necessitates the reduction now.

Crude oil has been fluctuating lately. I guess the reduction is as a result of the most recent reduction in the international price of crude oil yesterday.

The ignorance on this thread is mind boggling. Dangote is adjusting price up and down according to the international market. The price of crude on the international market had seen up and downward movement in the past 48 hrs. Nigerians should expect more of this up and downward movement of price of fuel at the filling stations, as time goes on. Market forecast predicts brent crude would likely get up to $215 per barrel if the war in Iran continues for the next 2-3 weeks. A lot of refineries in the middle east, are shutting down production currently.
