Its not possible for Abia South Senator, Abaribe, to lose his seat. A Senator can only be replaced by elections or recall, not appointment.

The constitution is silent on governor's defection as for the Kano assembly, it's in the hand of the speaker,the party they defected from or their constituency to take action by petitioning the inec.
