Fast forward to March when Iran blocked the Strait of Hormoz due to the war of aggression imposed on them by US/Israel, the same EU now want to negotiate with terrorist organization (IRGC)?

Wonders shall never end 😂🤣😂🤣.

This is why it is very important when they tell you that this so so person is a terrorist, this so so group is a terror group. Don't swallow it hook line & sinker. Do your independent historical research about such group or person & make an informed decision backed by logic and evidence.

This administration budget performance especially the capital budget performance is outrageously poor.

Those sweet trillions of naira we see in the national budget seems to be audio cos even the 2024 capital budget was just closed few months ago. We're in 2026 and 2025 budget is still running and being moved to form a part of the 2026 actual budget spending.

This means budgets announced actually aren't what is spent. The most alarming thing is Capital budgets performing less than 30% across board but recurrents was somehow hovering around 90%.
It doesn't make sense. All these talk about generating bigger tax revenue and breaking IGR records and yet they're struggling to disburse funds for capital projects. So all this revenue na audio? Or it's all used for recurrents.

This is liable to stunting the economy withholding funds for capital projects.
Increased revenue, increased budget, increased capital budget, increased foreign reserves, stronger naira, increased FDI, so all these macro economic indices na vibes and insha'Allah?? undecided

No one takes the EU seriously no more. People that can't guarantee their own security. Their own is about shouting and making noises while doing gum body with the US.

I like how Trump puts them in their place and lets them know, they're still breathing freely solely because of the US guaranteeing their safety.

Make region come together and develop the next fighter jet of the future in 6th gen tech and France and Germany can't decide who's to head the programme. Just bickering up and down.

I won't be surprised if these guys gets nothing done and still crawls back to the US 6th gen programme in the future when the F-47 becomes operational. So disjointed UK already know the drill and already embarked on a separate programme with the Japs knowing fully well how Europeans and their useless nationalist bickerings hinders progress.

They usually overestimate their power; similar scenario played out late last year with their fight with China over control of Dutch (China owned) NEXPERIA — a semiconductor producer. The Dutch government attempted a hostile takeover of the company and got pummeled by Chinese retaliation. They tried using their nonsensical national security excuse until the Chinese subsidiary restricted chip exports to Europe and if began affecting European car makers before they backed down.

Those people no get level again and peeps know the powers that shape the world resides with them no more and has long shifted. What remains is the vestiges of the powers of old.

I don't like Trump but I'd like to see him do a Greenland takeover just to see how powerless these EU noisemakers are. grin

Guy, I was thinking Buhari was worse AF in budget performance especially Capital budgets. I saw the performance numbers around NOV/DEC last year for this Tinubu administration and I was shocked AF. Less than 30% for many ministries.

Guy, you dey talk health and Education less than 30% capital performance. You no even worry about the infrastructure projects... Imagine works ministry only recording less than 30%, this is a ministry where the government easily use yo showcase they're actually working... The easily seen and verifiable performance indicator of a government. That ministry suffer and you dey talk of Health and Education that's usually the least of the average Nigerian government priority.

Overall budget performance so poor that the government is taking 70% of capital budgeted for 2025 budget, getting moved to the 2026 budget, to serve as capital budget foundation for this fiscal year.

This is outrageous and lackadaisical.

With all the sweet talk of Nigerians paying more tax, see wetin dem dey tax banks incomes, "increasing the revenue pool", FDI, Customs recording all time revenues, FIRS generating more money...... All these and they couldn't get projects significantly funded. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

If they even did 50% to 60% capital budget performance, it wouldn't be too bad. But 30% for a whole year and the ironic thing is that recurrent budget was recording over 90% performance.

If you know you can't deliver projects then slow down on the over inflation of the capital budget and plan based on realistic revenue generation. Every year I see significant budget increases and I'm given false hope that the government have significant money to achieve more than the previous year but all na premium hogwash.

Let me add, if NATO wanted it will be able to drive out Russian forces out of Crimea, Donetsk, Donbass, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mariinka, Bakmustk, Pokrovst, Ugledar etc in 48-72 hours.
