The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Friday filed a suit at the Federal High Court to prevent Senator Ireti Kingibe from presenting herself as a member of the party.

New Telegraph reports that the legal action follows the senator’s indefinite suspension by the Wuse Ward Executive Committee on Thursday, March 12.

The suit, which was filed by the party’s lawyer, Maxwell Opara, seeks a judicial declaration that the Wuse Ward Executive Committee has the authority to discipline and suspend party members within its jurisdiction.

The ADC also prayed that the court confirm that Kingibe’s suspension is still valid.

Ireti lost touch with reality after winning the election. Are the people saying she's not part of ADC not her ward excos? External factors or not?

As a politician, you don't get too carried away or too emotional about issue. It will hunt you in the future politically

That been the case, if the National has any water left...they know what to do, but they sound dumb and will do nothing. The pattern is the same. You look at your opponent...then face him/her. This is the same lame tactics some are doing in Osun but the Governor and electorates there are wiser.

The point you are missing here is nobody wants Ireti to return, whether the ward excos, national excos or external factors

The so called ADC coalition is toothless with zero bite.

Knowing those they are dealing with, I expected them to be vibrant than this but they have zero spike and it pains my heart.

Tinubu is such a lucky man.
