germaphobe:Sometimes when you guys talk ehn I just wonder So why do we have the depth abi it's for decoration? Why did he remove saka then since fans will complain, we have been managing this zubi since January up till now . Na una sabi jare |

germaphobe:Not direct bench but player management.saka, zubimendi, timber e.t.c should be sub early like 60min.arteta have no trust in norgard to replace zubimendi and zubi is tired. I just wish dowman can play left wing |

MLS is key for our creativity in this UCL KO stages. Its time for him to return to the lineup, but in midfield. He's that risk taker that clicks down the middle, can't be bullied off the ball as well. That PSG game made everyone realize he was a gem. Will coachie take that risk so we can get goals early. Can't imagine us struggling to get a goal for 90mins on UCL nights just cos approach is stiffling everyone in attack, starters or subs. Get MLS on abeg. |

germaphobe:I think Saka deserves grace. I remember how we complained about the number of games he was playing at that young age. He has over 300 at 24 caps now. He is also, affected by that harmstring injury he had last year, I think he is trying to be cautious because of the upcoming WC. He was awful in our last match, but he can be excused. |

daveP:It would be nice if MLS plays the number 6 role with Rice mentoring him. He is a risk taker but also rash sometimes, that is where Rice comes in. Zubi don tire well, na Timber I dey pity self, baba was forced to play FA cup because white no want just dey fit at all. Him and Calafiori. |

mostob:He pissed me off the other day. He was just missing chances and misplacing passes. I guess it is fatigue too. |

Omo! John Terry don make Mikel Obi look like an idiot. John Terry was objective despite his rivalry on Arsenal. The only person wey dey make sense again, na Rooney. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 5:32pm On Mar 13 |
iamoyindamola:The way Arteta want to deploy him is farther right than deep like MLS. The closer Eze is to Gyokores, the better for our attack. He moves no doubt but with MLS and Norgaard, even Rice will have some freedom. I'm not convinced with Zubi for this UCL. Eze was dropping too much vs Bayer and Rice was doing Zubi's work than Zubi. Plus this Timber attack needs to stop imo. Guy gets in the way but decision making stiffles an already sweet chance simply because ball is at his feet. I believe he will do better for the 2nd leg though. Probably a goal or assist. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 5:35pm On Mar 13 |
Fkforyou:Some talking will make the kid behave. As you said, Rice will be there. He makes work easier for Rice than Zubi. Many teams have this technical approach that movements from MLS cancels entirely. If i were Arteta i go just begin work on am to start midfield switch straight. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 5:39pm On Mar 13 |
daveP:Arteta wont use norgaard, rice and MLS together or rice, eze and MLS Zubi must be involved, the funny thing is in Spain he doesn't play all matches because there coach rotate him |

iamoyindamola: ![]() In the whole squad, they ones I know and feel like really need resting are Zubi and Rice. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 6:29pm On Mar 13 |
randy01:i understand what you mean, no too explain. I know what i said and why I said it Saka is not a case of resting, no i don't believe that, he has hardly played much minutes. Even after full match rest or playing few minutes, he still doesn't turn up next match. Zubimendi is obvious he needs a big rest. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 6:30pm On Mar 13 |
Fkforyou:yeah, injury has a way of affecting players how they don't even expect. But I know he will come back strong. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 6:33pm On Mar 13 |
iamoyindamola:Timber has been rested more than Zubi and Rice, and he can still be rested more often cus white is back, but Rice would hardly get that rest cus there's no player who can offer what he brings to the table. Managing his time on the pitch would be more effective. Na Arteta know why he never too trust norgaard to replace Zubi |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 9:23pm On Mar 13 |
iamoyindamola:Maybe he want make the guy force way enter WC squad or something cos if Rice no dey that midfield or backline, na yeye goals. E sure me say if Zubi and Rams dey play, dem no go still wan blame Zubi. Man has to trust the usage of NRM they're all good with long balls, running and tackles, while the flair with MLS can be an advantage |

iamoyindamola:most of dem pundits and ex players are just taking this Arsenal talk as banter, but then Mikel's words is just pure hate and disrespect. I still dey wonder wetin give am such mind, a black player that was relatively below average calling out Arsenal. Whom the gods wants to destroy, they first make him run mad. |

I just watched 45 mins of Brighton vs Sunderland and it ended 0-0. Anybody that heard that stewpid Brighton manager crashing out against Arsenal would think his team was Leicester of 2015/2016 season that was gunblazing. Nonsense! |
