City and Newcastle are inside the next 4 bros
tbh this city no dey fear me as before. We can play defensive and still win them. If we can win city and win Newcastle, I think the job will be done. Cus we will only need two wins out of the remaining four to be champions.

Any update about Oyedepo?
I hope he is fine.

Omo, I slept like a baby yesterday. Almost got to church late.

There's just something about Arsenal that prick emotions. Arsenal usually does things in style. When Gyokeres tapped in that ball yesterday, for seconds, I no fit move. I was like is this real? Abi the stvpid VAR go cancel am? Then Dowman went ahead to do that at 16.

This is why we love the club.
Arsenal Football Club should rather be called Arsenal Family Club cause that club is like a family to both the players, ex-players and fans

If not for anything, I want us to win the EPL because of Arteta ; beacuse of the work he's put in to get Arsenal play at this top level for the past 4 years now. He took us from the level where we always lose hope before we face anay top 6 team to we always looking forward to slugging it out with any so called big team.
.
Of a truth we've really come a long way but laurel have continued to elude us. This has made Arteta to get disrespect from fans and rivals.

I'm a firm believer of " Results will cancel insults" and I strongly believe this year is that years Arteta and his boys will get their deserved accolades.
Arteta deserves a lot of credit.
He learnt from his mistakes this season.
We didn't have enough squad depth to compete on all fronts in the previous seasons, he corrected that.

He got the best out of the players at his disposal,
who followed his instructions to the letter.
They defend as a unit and attack as a unit.

The likes of Martinelli, Trossard, and Merino have come in clutch for us, scoring important goals—even though I despise the way they play most of the time.
It's all thanks to the coach.

I firmly believe this season he will reap the fruits of his labour.

Welcome to Arteta fans' club. Lol

BTW, winning the EPL this season will be like a trigger. I have no doubt it will be the beginning of long term success. Right now, Berta has already set plans in motion to add more new faces to the squad. I've been seeing rumours of Tonali.

One Chelsea fan confessed few weeks ago that the reason why he do pray and hope Arsenal lose their matches is because he fear Arsenal will dominate the league like Pep did cos most top teams are in shambles currently.

Lol
As they say, it's better late than never.
I believe he should have addressed the key areas where everyone has been clamouring for—especially going into the 2024/25 season.
It took a series of injuries to our key players and our dip in form before he realised we needed very good squad depth to win the league.

In hindsight, I feel we would have won the league last season if we had had good squad depth. If we can sign Tonali, it would be a good addition to the team. Either Rice or Zubimendi would be able to rest in some games.

I would like them to put their focus on the left wing. That position is a major source of concern.
I wouldn't mind if we let both Martinelli and Trossard go. We need a top-class left winger.

True.. Very true. But we don't know what's going on up there.

I think Trossard will definitely leave. I'm not sure about Martinelli. Gabriel Jesus will definitely leave too.

Rooney’s screamer against Arsenal for his PL debut goal made him the youngest premier league goal scorer.

Now, Max Dowman has taken the title off him against same Everton.

We always know how to strike back.

Arsenal suffered the birth of Rooney…
but Arsenal may now be witnessing the birth of their own teenage superstar.

Mustafi, Holding, and Senderos the unholy trinity of defensive disaster classes. Chai how we managed to consistently be top six with these Arsenal Defenders Hall of Shame candidates is a minor miracle.

BlueRayDick:
Looking at that Gabriel's block vs Leverkusen and that Calafiori's block vs Everton yesterday, I see boys who are hungry for glory and currently playing their heart out to secure the league at all cost. They are willing to throw their body on the line.

Then I remember we used to parade players like Senderos,Sylvester,Djourou,Gallas,Koscielny,Vermaelen,Squilacci,Paulista,Mertesacker,Mustafi,Sokratis ,Holding,Chambers,David Luiz etc as our defenders in the past.

Omo! We have really come a long way o.

MKe Una calm down ó. Which one is risk it with 7 games to go and we are not yet assured of winning the league?

If na u, will u suddenly introduce youngster like Dowman and an erratic Lewis-Skelly into the starting line-up at this stage when pressure is mounting on us towards the final lap of the season?

I support the idea of having Dowman come in like he did yesterday in matches we need fresh legs and creativity like yesterday. I don't support him coming on in a game like Brighton or any other game we needed to hang on a thread to see the game off. I believe the use of these players should be needs-based and not just emotionally based because yesterday's game outcome.

This is our most important football season in a very long time and I will hate to see it ruined because the coach decided to risk It all when he didn't need to.
By risk, i mean no need to bench them like before cos you as coach feel they're not set for the big stage or whatever reasons are given. That's the risk he needs to take-giving them even more minutes. It helps the main guys rest more. So when you hear risk, no be me go connote the one wey go ruin season when me sef wan see that trophy come home. Jejely abeg!!

On the other hand, someone like Dowman is new to defenders. The manager need not bring them for games outside their capacity. But let them ball too. This is not the 1st time it will happen. The kid literally unlocked that low block

The low block will continue cos it's Arsenal, till May. If he will play a big part in that unlocking, let him.

ObaIgwe1:
"It is not only the goal that he scored, he changed the game. Every time he got the ball, he makes things happen and we are more of a threat. To do that at that age, in this context with the pressure, the expectations to win the game, it's just not normal.

"It's so organic for him, he doesn't feel the pressure. He goes, gets the ball, stops on the ball. It's natural for him, that's the best thing, so just make sure he does what he feels.

"When you have such a talent then I'm sure good things are going to happen."

- Arteta on Dowman
Blueray, for context. On a norm, na to shield the kid. But he's just above all of that level already.

it was so brave of Arteta to remove a defensive midfielder and introduce Showman. But I don't think he would be automatically starting Showman in the remaining epl games. For skelly, na God hand he dey so, cus even when he's given a chance he doesn't make it worth it anymore as last season.
Me just want more minutes for him. Arteta is getting bolder with removing main guys that offer nothing. Saka, Gyo, Zubi, Trossard, Martinelli, Kai, GJ, all have been on this table this year 2026. Make e maintain that formula till the end abeg.

Me still feel that Skelly go come key in this UCL. I can feel it. It might be a game we need his line breaking for. Till then sha. Overall, good to have Cala and Hincapie available for rotation. Martinelli better take advantage cos last season we complained about that wing being dead. Not its alive. We need more goals from there.

White, Timber, Mosquera. Juicy RB.

You guys are currently 9 pts ahead and City have a game in hand meaning that it is potentially 6 pts. You guys have 7 games left, so it is definitely not 4 wins, but rather 6 wins.
We need 11more points actually. That's even based on the presumption that city will win all their remaining games, which is unlikely too. We might even beat them when we meet. But if vice versa, they still can't win all. Infact we aren't assuming we will too. But this team might go alllll out to shock we fans

Shout to Arteta. That was the bravest I’ve seen of him since his Arsenal era.

The subs were spot on. Trusting a 16 year old kid to change the game for him.

He got the line up right, took more risk by tweaking the formation.

Kudos to Calafiori for that world class save.

Shout out to Eze, his best performance bar Tottenham in an Arsenal shirt. He was very offensive, creating threats and giving sublime passes.

Special shout out to Dowman the Badman!

My man was just slicing defenders up and down. Na how the last guy take fall down scatter my brain. He just laid dead after dowman dribble am.

Now, we focus on Tuesday.

COYG!! ❤️

Enjoy this moment.

You have 7 more games to play, City have 8 and are 9 pts behind. Let's assume they win their outstanding, that's 6 pts gap. After your next 4 games, you still have 3 games which is 9 pts. If City wins all games and draws against you guys, you will need to win at least 1 and draw 1 of the last 3 games...

This is what I am seeing from the table at the moment.
