These money could have been used to build industries, take willing people off the streets .

It’s unreasonable to build such a structure to go shout hallelujah and contribute money
The money people use to buy cars, would have been used to feed the poor and take beggars of the street. Don't you think so?

The money you used to buy your phone and the data you used to post this could have been used to feed the less privileged in your community

On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Good effort by him to actualize what he thinks, is the advancement of God's kingdom.
But in the real sense, all these are not necessary because. ..

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Why can't you build industries or ask the cr!minals you are always voting for to build industries? Poor people always have ideas on how the rich should spend their money.

If you are not happy with Nigerian Christians now, how will feel in ten years time when the wealth of the gentiles will completely become ours. You need to do the needful as early as far to save yourself.

In your own little way, how have you improved the lives of the people around you?

It's always easier for some of you to detect other people's faults. But if u were Oyedepo, you would do worse.

Be informed that Oyedepo is also an employer of labour, massive employer at that. Also note that he's not the government and hasn't held any political position before
So because others lack the capacity to help, we shouldn't criticize where criticism is due? We are all Christians, my kids are in Oyedepo's school, but the truth is that all this is waste and misplaced priority.

You no know say church na industry? In fact the most profitable industry. Next to it is Betting industry, next to that is the political industry. All three industries have one thing in common - exploit the poor masses with promises, while taking the little in their pocket.

According to the scriptures, God is a spirit and whosoever shall serve Him must do so in spirit.

I see no point building 2 million seat capacity structures and whatnot for people who don't love or fear God to go and be deceiving themselves. Building schools, industries, hospitals are better endeavors that will make life better for the people.
Enough of all these fanatism, be it Islam or Christian.

On that day, "most if not all Nigerian pastors and G.Os will say to me Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy and build massive structures in your name "... Fixed.

Christ that fed over 5,000 people didn't know what He was doing I guess.. it's the ones building arks when Nigerians are languishing in poverty that know God. Self deceit and hypocrisy.

But this kind of gigantic projects and the preaching of his coming back not correlated. What if Jesus come tomorrow as they preached. Or they know he is not coming back again?
Lol.. well, since we all don't know the exact time, we can't stop making great strides for the gospel. We can't relent in pursuing our purpose.

When Jesus returns, even if it's tomorrow.. we'll leave everything behind and off we go with him. Nothing spoil.

John 12:3-8
[3]Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
[4]Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
[5]Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
[6]This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
[7]Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
[8]For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

You're quoting out of context. Read the conversation with the woman at the well. This has nothing to do with what you're saying here.

Christianity is in people. People meet in places.

Acts 2 happened in the temple. Where else would accomodate 3000 people. Acts 3 too.

Acts 19 happened in a building called the "school of one tyranus."

If you care about the scriptures truly and not just bad belle for the man, let's reason it out of scriptures. ✌️

the devil is a nice guy when compared to Nigeria leaders both secular and sacral.
Sacral leaders happened to the most evil.
To think that all of us breath the same air makes me shudder with fear.
A man will boldly tell you that God told him that you should sow your salary not caring how you are going to cope.
He wants your money directly from you then God will give you from heaven.
Why can't he call it down directly from heaven and share to everyone?.
The thing is most of the members are more wicked than these pastors, this is because, before going to Church, you saw your neighbor that he or she is in need but you preferred to give to pastor because you think there will be reward when you give to pastor than when you give to your neighbor.
That's why billionaires singlehandedly build cathedrals when a lot of their kinsmen cannot afford a roof over their head. And when they are not rewarded the way they want, you will hear akacham

Very true and it is already happening now not in the future. Their buildings and halfhazard teachings will become a thing of the past. For the One who is complete has come. God will live with men and teach them. God is a teacher of love and not a miracle doer.
dermmy:
In this near future people will know God personally and won't need to go to a building built by man to have fellowship with God. They will serve God in spirit and in truth and it has started.
