Businessman Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chiefpriest, stirs outrage over a comment on Peter Obi and the City Boy Movement in Imo State.

The celebrity barman had expressed interest in joining the City Boy Movement and has publicly confirmed his decision.

During Seyi Tinubu’s visit to Imo State over the activities of the City Boy Movement, Cubana Chiefpriest was seen with him on stage, delivering a speech.

He revealed that in the past election, he did not support Tinubu because he wanted to be an “Igbo boy”. However, he described this as the biggest mistake of his life.

He added that he was a fool then but has since changed his mind. Cubana Chiefpriest also likened his political choices to food, saying Peter Obi (whom he supported in the first election) was his “first food,” while Tinubu is now his “second food” and the “real food.”

Chiefpriest speaks about City Boy Movement Further explaining, he said he is seeking a fair share of government, which is why he is partnering with the City Boy Movement and Tinubu.

Is this surprising to anyone?

They all voted Obi last time simply because he is Ibo in their region. Then same people now abusing others for doing exact same thing in less magnitude.

I have watched Peter Obi since he became governor till date, he has never called anyone names or make terrible political statement that could make anyone hates him...

That is why as a politician and those who support politicians...just watch what u say. It could haunt u tomorrow. E.g Bwala,Reno their pasts is really at odd with them.

I watched Elrufai swore that Obi can never win any place in Kaduna,his son equally abused Peter Obi then but today,who is in prison because of his utterances same Elrufai.

Support who u want to support and avoid making utterances like this.

I remember visiting Edo state some years ago during one Guber election period..At the airport road,a big screen and speaker was showing oshomole abusing and infact destroying his own candidate I've forgotten the man's name ..a pastor.. I was confused and like...isn't this the person this dude is supposed to be supporting? My client trying to control his laughter told me that these were old videos he made against the same man hes now supporting..being played by the incumbent obaseki..who did not even do much ..he just situated big screens in Edo state ano played night and day oshomole destroying his opponent for him. That's what politics of loud mouth can cause

Peter Obi is a God sent and only those with clear conscience and no motive to gain from government understands and support Obi willingly.

In Nigerian terms, I am rich, I don't need a dime from Peter Obi or any politician, I am contented like Peter Obi whom I support. The little I have acquired in life by the mercy and grace of God gives me assurance of a great future, so I don't need pittance from corrupt government officials to support their corrupt and anti-people policies and governance. Check all the people supporting this APC regime of evil, corruption and extreme tribalism, they are all moneymongers and political appointment seekers looking for easy way to live luxury life from government coffers, that is why they have sold their human conscience and now supporting what they know is wrong and evil. Check the level of insecurity, hunger, youth unemployment, youth migration, out of school kids, poor health and others and you will know that Tinubu does not deserve a second tenure in a sensible nation with majority of sensible citizens.

Cubana Chief Priest is rich but he is not contented just like most elites throwing their pretentious support for Tinubu just because they believe Tinubu have the political ruthlessness to grab power and that no other politician can beat him so they are just queueing behind Tinubu out of fear and not because they truly believe that Tinubu is doing well or will do better than others.

Peter Obi does not offer money or gift or anything to influence anybody to support him, he only tells anybody that wishes to hear what he would do to change Nigeria for good and he references his past lifestyle and deeds to support it which can be verified.

It's not as if Peter Obi will do magic to change Nigeria, but few things he would do will forever reposition Nigeria for greatness.

Those hating on Peter Obi are angels of darkness created to slow down the communal progress of Nigeria.

I voted Peter Obi because of his personality and his lifestyle not just because he is Igbo because if it was Rochas Okorocha or Orji Uzo Kalu that contested in 2023, God in heaven knows I will be the last person to vote for them to talk of supporting them in 2023, instead I would have voted Atiku whom I believe would do better.

The reason I have been criticising Tinubu is because he has a very terrible and shady past and background and the worst is his tribalism and nepotism which he took to a whole new level that no other President in Nigeria has ever done.

If Tinubu had let go of his nepotism and carried everybody along with sincerity, I swear by now I would have been the one campaigning for him for some good policies he made like the State Police he is trying to bring and other few good policies I commended him for but his nepotism and tribalism makes it difficult for me to even see him as a worthy leader.
