Dele Momodu, former presidential candidate, on Sunday said President Bola Tinubu wants to contest against himself, adding that he’s against opposition.

Momodu made the remark while noting that without the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu won’t have been Nigerian President.

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate disclosed this while featuring on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

He said: “You can imagine how much Tinubu can generate from Lagos State alone not to talk of national, and when you have an absolute ruler everything is available to him.

“So if I’m with Atiku it shows you it is people who have genuine interest of the country, I believe there must be opposition politics.

There must be opposition candidates but Tinubu wants to contest against himself and it doesn’t make sense to me.

“You can see all these rabble rausing they are doing up and down, giving you fake statistics up and down.

“Look Buhari handed over to Tinubu, but for Buhari it would have been impossible for Tinubu to be president today.”

I don’t know about Buhari, but almost everybody within Buhari circle worked against Tinubu.

Most of those in ADC today from APC are close Buhari people. Infact e no even reach 3 month into Tinubu administration that they started going against Asiwaju.

Buhari did not work directly for Tinubu but I don’t think he worked against him either. Baba just remain neutral and let things take the natural course

He even cried on national TV that he will never contest again until Tinubu went to meet him in Kaduna and helped him to be a president. Buhari govt was a disaster and despite his wife warning him that he should sack many around him,he allowed all those who were in his Cabinets to go Scot- free and -till date they remained UN-ACCOUNTABLE in all their activities including,
- the FORMER' Ministers,
-Head of Depts,
-Parastatals,
-Agencies like the NNPC Officials,the Poverty Alleviation dept,etc
Corruption became so evident!
-Uncle Dele- is that the kind of leader you want for the Nigerian Masses,abi ?

Dele momodu,the man that likes food and lacks table manners eating like a glutton...... no be ma talk am o,nah wike talk am o.......but the one I know was that momodu once ran for presidency and on election day he left his home to his polling unit in wasinmi,Marland, Lagos,alongside 2 other person's including his wife.... he got only 2 votes that day grin

The HARDEST fuel scarcity Nigeria had ever seen. I have lived through multiple fuel scarcities and this was simply the hardest

The naira cash scarcity which had people spending naira to buy naira. Jumping bank fences.

Buhari or at least his crew weren't neutral, they were totally against Tinubu. You can still see most of them working against the president now.

Keyamo's the only smart one, he'll be a federal minister for 16 years by the time Tinubu's done, and still young.

Elrufai's ego and arrogance got the best of him. When Buhari turned on Tinubu after winning, did Tinubu openly fight back? No, he waited it out and stayed loyal to the president and the party, and now he's president.

Elrufai should've done the same, waited his turn for a shot at president after BAT. Now he's just made it easier for Ribadu to be the next president.

If a sitting president is against your presidential ambitions, trust me you won’t even contest in the primaries.

Buhari decided to remain neutral. If not for El Rufai and a few others that forced his hands. Tinubu was already considering SDP as his platform.

We can also recall how Buhari a not surprising traitor did everything to stop Tinubu’s Presidency including changing and hoarding our currency because he believed that Tinubu buys votes. All machineries of government were deployed against Tinubu, but whom God hath blessed, no Almajari can curse.

So this DAVIDO’s boy called Dele to now say Buhari made Tinubu President, then Dele needs psychiatric evaluation
