@Op , what made them unable to transfer the loan they borrowed from Opay into your account could have been non access to your transfer pin ?? You are lucky😁😁
Face verification was what prevented them. They already have his pin.

Where is the DenreleDave guy. Come and clarify things as your write-up is NOT clear.
Or is this another made-up or highly embelished Nairaland crap (my suspicion)
Ah! This kid again grin

If you're still in school, better leave internet and focus more in class...especially English lectures. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Bro, thank God for your life.

But one lesson everyone should learn from this your story is to always have a back up, hidden far away.

Oya let's assume you didn't hide that #200 very far, what could you have done?

But then again,if you had done transportation work before, you'd realize that one thing. During my years as a Keke rider,I came across several passengers , especially women who wouldn't board a Keke that has only men as passengers. Perhaps, for security reasons cuz of stories like this which they must had heard or their own passed personal experiences.
Nowadays, women have joined this thing oo. You will see a vehicle it will be safe because one or two women are in it, not knowing that the woman are just there to make you relaxed

EVEN AS A MAN, I CAN NEVER ENTER ANY BUS THAT IS JUST MEN ONLY, PRIVATE CAR IS NOW A NO - NO FOR ME.

NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY LADIES DONT WANT TO ENTER A CAR OR BUS FILLED WITH JUST MEN, I REALLY UNDERSTAND.
Even being on a lonely deserted road as a woman with a man (men) around, you know you are finished.
Serious fear must hold you.. Either you are robbed or raped or both. You may even get killed.

God will continue to protect us from things like this.

Thank your God @op. That loan of ₦140k would have cost you more than ₦200k with interest. Your God did not allow them to withdraw the money before you blocked it.
they already took the loan, and op has paid the loan principal amount without interest,as advised by ease money(opay) management.

They took the loan but have not withdrawn it. It was still in the Opay account of the OP hence he returned it back to easimoney. Go and read the story again. The loan and his former balance were still in his account.

Also, i had to log in to my opay through my brothers phone and i realised that they did not take my money but instead borrow a loan of 140k. So in total, it was 156500 (16500 + 140000) then i went to check the transfer history to see that they borrowed a loan. So when i noticed this, i had to message easemoni customer service and explained to them, they were so helpful. I transferred the loan amount to their account and my loan was cleared.

Criminals use female too. It a bus of organ harvesters including 2 females at the front that almost carried us at Anambra state.

One should just be prayerful and observant always.
