It's long over due ooo... something has to be done! I've been on the road since Friday night and can't bost of 40k profits, mean while I don buy fuel 70k. No be juju be that?
A State of Emergency should be declared.
Ones fuel money is begining to be more than your take home profit, then it's no longer a good business.

I only fear one day strike will not really cut it. Plus it was not properly planned and communicated in advance. The publicity is very poor and many drivers aren't aware of the strike so it will not be effective.
Mass action should follow like protests to Uber and Bolt offices, if Indrive refuses to have an office then the app should be shut down by the govt. Everybody must be dragged to a round table and a fare pricing system must be out in place.

Some drivers have financial emergency like medical bills and others. But you are sabotaging their effort because of your own selfish reasons. If you don't like, shut your app, let others survive.

If you're not ready to adhere with the goal of the sector where you work then you don't deserve to be member of the same sector, maybe you should go and create your own system.

So you can enjoy the surge well meaning drivers created. You don’t deserve to survive, because the future of the business depend on elimination of your kind.

I don't understand how riders r able to input ridiculous prices. My own passenger platform won't let me input a price of even 20k to ajah market from my location but this rider can input 14k to same location.

Note my location from d other rider location is not more than 4km or less As I'm on college road his in Iju road Iz my platform different

Don't mind him. Everybody wants to enjoy but not sacrifice. Like I don't want to also work but I intentionally sit at home.

Its not hard to guess these apps also pays heavy tax to the govt. So indirectly the Drivers and riders pays the tax through that channel.

Na Uber, Bolt & Indrive dey chest all the blames. Not saying they too are not bad. A review needs to be done
That's one secret people don't know, they pay huge money to the government.
There was a time they came for Uber drivers and they were forced to go and settle, initially uber was claiming to be one tech company that doesn't need to be bothered.
They would have made it uncomfortable for drivers if not even phasing them out, they slowed down after the compromise.

Many of these added charges came after the drama of arresting drivers telling them until indriver sort them they won't stop.

Before you input the price, turn off your location.
Then turn it back on after inputting the price you want.

Much respect, baba.

Anything conversion count me out, especially when it's being done here in naija.
I can buy a car that was CNG right from the factory, GUO, Ezenwata and some other transport companies bought the new Chinese CNG vehicles yet they didn't convert the other ones.
And I have never seen any of these transport companies going to convert their vehicles from fuel to CNG, the fuel they burn in single trip can serve an Uber driver a couple of days.
So why are they not converting, is it that they don't like profits or what?

the hustle eh na indrive be the main problem now and na Uber/bolt create that monster. 19mins to go pick how much trip nawa oo
I thought what made drivers rush to indrive then was you can input your own price to counter the customers, how is it to the detriment of drivers now..

Bro I am supporting anybody here, not the government nor the app companies.
Just saying it's important we also know where our problems are coming from.
By the way you sound like an APC person, because anything tax talks infuriates them.
They are always fast to remind you of how they are paying taxes everywhere but when you remind them those ones have common electricity and can travel by road to almost every part of their country they start crying.
