As the conversation continued online, Nigerians also dug up an old interview where Crayon spoke about a difficult period in his life and the struggles he was facing behind the scenes.

In that interview, he described a moment when things became so overwhelming that he went to the Mavin studio gate, sat outside, and smashed his phone on the ground.

He said the situation had gotten so bad that he didn’t even know how to explain what he was going through at the time.

According to him, Rema quickly drove to the location after hearing about what happened and came to support him during that difficult moment.

During the recent tweets that went viral, Crayon also made a very serious claim, saying that the situation with the label contributed to the death of his mother a statement that shocked many fans online.

The tweets were later deleted, but by then screenshots had already spread across social media, sparking debate among fans about what may really be happening behind the scenes.

At the moment, neither Don Jazzy nor the Mavin camp has released any official statement addressing the situation.

Music business is not black and white or straight forward as many of you think , when you see what most of their contracts look like you will cry for some of them and the truth is they accepted the conditions out of desperation to blow and become someone in life with their talent, meanwhile it's a trap in disguise.

Music executives (the investors ) eat the lion share and give you peanuts in advance payment (like a loan) to make you feel like you have arrived but later go back to collect the money 5 times and call it business.
