SHOOPSYN:
One of the problems of Nigeria is unanimity. I believe a lot of drivers feel this way but still chose to observe the strike action. Imagine Uber and Bolt driver loyalty going online because they believe only Indrive is the problem. Most drivers dont even believe the suppose ehailing leadership or believe there will be tangible outcome. But it is reasonable to a large extent to observe it because is better to try than do nothing at all. The trip you did was most likely because of the strike action going on.
You are right, we are our own enemies, especially when it comes to unanimous decisions.
Families,
Neighbors
Church/Mosque/Traditionals
SUG,
Political.... but as individuals, we can still try to be civil and do our part. LET EACH OF US DO OUR PART.
So you understand there's a lack of unity either willfully or unwillfull... So how do conduct a protest with such divide? Ur reaching my conclusion by ur self... Anything short of marching to their offices is a futile effort..

Reduce ur capping, we are all in the system, Indrive drivers wey I know will pick it at 19k wey him increase am to without thinking twice

which indrive are you praising here. The same indrive that will allow riders to put stupid prices. The Genesis of this problem is from indrive before drivers don't complain about prices during this type of period what use to happen is drought of request. Which means even if you do just 2 trips in a day it is still tangible not running around anyhow without any commemorating profit
That any price you see na occasionally error... Its not a norm... Me praise indrive? Those werey? U funny my bro, out of the 3 apps, this period, na indrive pay pass, if you use it well... You people should channel this energy strike to bolt and uber, boycott them... Then have some dignity on Indrive, problem will be solved

Indrive gangan is d problem of this business so how can u say Indrive should be left out. They are d cheapest and fare doesn't increase if traffic conditions change, that's taking us back, even yellow taxis will add money for u ones they encounter serious traffic and u must pay. Sometimes drivers just take those prices out of frustration cos someone else will take it nonetheless. Just like u aren't observing the strike. And they may go home empty. The only reason I are making money by taking d highest price is because u are in a dead zone. That's why wen u come to VI u want to run back to ur desk zone cos there are few drivers there, and u will drive like 20mins to even get to pick up. U are just like the drivers taking rubbish trips but with different set of problems so stop acting like u know how to manipulate the system, u only thrive in places like Badagary, Agbara, Onosa, Sangotedo, Eleko, Ibeju etc
real capping na him the guy dey do as if those riders can't go to other app to confirm the price

Indrive is d worst app. Passenger go cancel trip after u reach their addy. Dey can waste tym for africa kus dey no there is no waiting fee. On Indrive u will see a starting fair, but d rider will use his or her and reduce it further. Na this same indrive person go order courier service to carry human being. Kus its cheaper

😂 You see, everybody reality different... Na that courier adey like sef, cus i never carry them with that price, i ALWAYS overcharge.... Why are you people pushing blame to only indrive and not ur fellow drivers? No be robots dey order the ride, na human beings... When no one picks, they'll adjust na.. I'm currently seeing drivers take 7k to sangotedo from cms.... Who dey pressure them? Ghost? If you take uber, they'll charge ride 10k (maybe) inside 10k, them go take 3k..or more, na indrive una dey blame... None of them holy, but I'll choose the one that blesses my patience.

Una dey find companies wey una go blame leave the real wicked folks... As una dey blame them, blame the vile people ultimately responsible for this collapse.

It is well... Make everyone dey begin find other source of income.... We're facing deminishing returns year on year.. Profit dey REDUCE... Nature will take its course, you can't force people to seek good prices, so allow thr harsh economic reality to send them off the market... When car breakdown, and them no see money repair, motor go park na. Best way to work this work is as a side hustle, unfortunately Nigeria has no plans for citizens.

Some drivers have financial emergency like medical bills and others. But you are sabotaging their effort because of your own selfish reasons. If you don't like, shut your app, let others survive.
Person get medical bills to sort and is still able to drive?

Ewoooo, how you take get your rider WhatsApp number? Omooor u try o

But you know say if na Uber be dis, she fit use this chat report you & na instant blocking

But this is the main sh*t why I dread Indrive. E dey mess with my head 😐

The other day, I pick up an item from phase 1 going towards Ilasan, the trip of <25mins turn almost 40 mins. The trip fare more than doubled 😎. Na me come dey pity the lady wey get parcel
Bro dont pity riders, 99% wont pity you if your vehicle breaks down or get arrested by law enforcement. its business as usual for them.

I carried someone to Lagos island, Lastma later harassed me dem come down dey go. But the woman called back to ask abt my wellness. I later reported to Uber to adjust the price for me

Another one recently, those girls order ride on Uber frm Gym dey go Ologolo because of traffic on Express dem say make i pass Coastal road, i say okay ma, we no con quick see turning she con dey complain asif i opt for coastal road. Na so bill fly from 3K to N12,500 she say na N7000 dey her hand. I say pay let me go, she begged not to report but i later reported to Uber and Uber paid me the remaining money. In her next ride she will pay that balance

Even waiting time or Cancellation, uber will charge riders later if dem think say dem wise. So the lady might be paying for a sin she committed before

One lady too paid huge after i dropped her, she just dey vex but when i see description i know say na because she dont commit either TIME WASTING, INCOMPLETE PAYMENT make her bills high grin

But i cant explain to them e go touch nerves or cause quarrel tongue
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix: 6:45pm On Mar 17
If after all the strike/protest, the app. companies still keep the prices at the same rate, what would happen next? undecided

The organisers should know better.
This rally won't change anything if apps. still functioning and accessible to drivers.
I said something when government tax was imposed on indrive that they still won't increase the base fare, despite increasing the commission percentage.

Tomorrow is the last day for the strike, after then, what happens if the fares still remain the same? 😐

1. Make sure u know the person, have it on lowkey voice record to him admitting it's a trip.
2. Price - depends on time spent but minimum is 150k...if na me, 150-250 depending on time.

Lol una dey in an anyhow country dey expect any good thing? Oya na... We do protest for good governance, una leaders gun men down.... Administration that'll rather spend money on influencers to give them good name rather than just put that money to good use, na them you dey expect miracle from.... I don talk taya, till the head works, nothin will work. The only hope of protest is that everybody will abandon bolt and uber... Passengers will definitely find their where we dey(indrive) that will naturally create surge on Indrive, and if there's a resolution to not take shitty prices, people will adjust.... Imagine organising a 3 day protest.... Who does that?
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Kumuyiii(m): 7:13pm On Mar 17
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Who does a protest and tells the people he's protesting against when and how long the protest will last... What kinda tomfoolery is this?

Hello uber/bolt.... We're doing a 3 day protest, y'all just have to endure a little disruption for 3 days, we're hoping you increase ur base fare, but if you don't, after 3 days, we continue like nothing happened..we're not comin to ur office to occupy and raise placards till news channels and nigeria hears us, nothin crazy like that... Just a few people telling other drivers on indrive(only indrive oh) comment section to observe protest, people on bolt and uber have no clue whatsoever. And oh by the way, I think we do such lazy protests every year with no result sooo, there's that, don't be worried dear uber/bolt... We're just a bit upset.

You see how dumb that sounds? That's what y'all are doing. Protest with expiration date, smh.

Guys, I want to get corolla 2016 but I learnt it uses CVT (transmission)

What's your general opinion on the car and is it durable like the older models?

If a man's wife, child or even parent is stuck in a hospital somewhere due to unpaid bills what then do you term such an emergency? 🤔

Open your mind and think . . . It takes nothing from you except a few calories and a tiny amount of your time wink
