Sophisticated failures... That is why UK invited him. They see in him a worthy partner in making sure that NIGERIA remains underdeveloped and dependent on them for survival. Obviously the man called TINUBU is a prime example of what it means to have failures at the helm of leadership. FSBoperator Legendhero FREESTUFFNG I hope you guys have solar powered electricity channels, because all of UNA must suffer even with your APC cards.. ![]() |

This may be the reason why Tinubu invested billions on Aso Villa solar installation.... he knew about this impending doom over mounting debts.... To demonstrate the height of irresponsibility he is busy partying in UK while Nigeria is in darkness.... |

The Gencos are trying to blackmail the government because their claims have been audited and found to be false. The government said their is not up to 6 trillion but around 2.5 trillion. Because of that they have decided to out the whole country in darkness. The government shouldn't bulge, no one has the right to steal because they have power to blackmail. Government should pay the 2.5 trillion and charge those that want to steal from the nation to court of there is ample evidence. We are with the government on this, no matter how long it takes. |

They definitely pad up d amount to that level because it's not as if people aren't paying for the power, the issue is they aren't paying enough and these gencos wants to take advantage of the government by inflating the amount owed neyop85: |

Solar installation is what is affecting their revenue. I can tell you for a fact that since they introduced band A billing. Alot of rich people switched to solar. NEPA will become like water board in no distance time. Government should subsize solar batteries. To enable people transsit from NEPA. So everyone can rest. |

President Jonathan made a terrible mistake during the privatization of PHCN, turning it from a national public monopoly to different private monopolies in their states of operation. Ideally, the GENCOs should also be in charge of distribution to encourage more players into the generation business. But Jonathan sold off the DISCos to politicians with little or no experience in electricity matters while Joe Ajaero who was electricity union president at the time, failed to demand due diligence after Jonathan's excessive payout to PHCN staff distorted his reasoning. At the end, most of the staff who collected humongous pay off, were still retained by the new owners who themselves have been ripping the country off since then. |

neyop85:I would believe you but for the fact that our government cannot be trusted as they are chronic liars is what has made this hard to believe The problem we have is the government is not burdened with helping or providing for the masses . Nigerians are docile and will adapt to bad governance for example instead of demanding for constant electricity we adapted to Generators and now Solar. Nigerians have no breaking point Nigerians have given up on good governance Nigerians forget easily |

It's all a strategy....it's because tinubu chose to pay them audited 2.8trillion in legacy debt over the 6.5trillion claims. |

The gencos are blackmailing the FG and it will not work. Why are they trying to extort 6.8 trillion from the govt? Let them open their own books for audit to know how much they have collected from consumers through the Discos. Everybody keeps saying that corruption is entrenched in the public sector but look deeply, you will see it is worse in the private sector. |

Cyberterror:they are criminals. Government told them several things during obasenjo, to yaradua to Jonathan to buhari now to tinubu. To go and metered every household. Obj forcefully remove people old meters and put prepared for free. But when they saw the are not making it unlike the establishmented billing they sabotage the process. People couldn't finish 300 in a month. I know of someone that uses 1000 for 1year. They start giving excuses. Meters because scares. They even introduced band A. People cut than usage and many jumped to solar. Now their brains have reset. |
