I did it 11 and 12th last year. Am looking at the weather because my first production will be Big. Any day it rain heavily here in this month, I will do nursery the following day.

I will be transplanting my nursery on Saturday and I will do another nursery by end of this month.

It's good to see this thread still active till this moment, kudos to dear farmer Akinloye and other top contributors here.

I'm also starting this March though I should have planted earlier. I've been having problem with pumping water from the river for irrigation, seems the land is to high from the river.

I will try my best though because I have eight acres.

Now I have some farm inputs I bought but I don't think I will be able to use all for now. I will rather sell and use the money for other farm works.

I have achieved 150 crate on 2.2k stand once, the land is very fertile, I use manure,npk, potassium nitrate,foliar fertilizer and the weather is very favourable. If it is green house, you can see x3 of that. Disease is the culprit that reduces our yield drastically.

Total of 120k stand for the whole year circle.

under normal condition and favourable weather, lifecycle of tomato plant is six months and you should be able to harvest it at least one month.

on a safe side in south west, may is okay. Personally! I will never try it at any time.

My nursery is 27 day today and I can't make ridges because of the hard soil because rain has not fallen for a long time. Will this affect my tomato performance when I later transplant?
