When the cat goes all out to host rats to a grand feast, it would be foolhardy for the rats to pretend that the cat has forgotten the taste of rat meat.

Someone should ask Mr. Segun what Nigeria will give in return for this grand gesture by a monarchy whose country is struggling economically.
In case you have not noticed the increased interest in Africa from the Europeans. You don't have to be a genius to put two and two together.

BTW we appreciate the positive traction this has given our country. It shouldn't be bad all the time. Kudos to the team managing our diplomatic interest.

If Tinubu hadn’t become president, we’d still be hearing how the ‘man who built Lagos and tamed the Atlantic ocean' would have turned Nigeria into the best country on earth.

Well, destiny ensured he grabbed it , snatched it and run away with it and he became president and now Nigerians can see the reality for themselves: worsening insecurity, a failing economy, and citizens displaced in their own country, as if we’re at war.
If Peter Obi had not become Anambra state governor we would have been hearing what again?

Paul Biya also have a destiny to be president since 1982.

What is the destiny of Kwara people under Tinubu? Is it their destiny to be afflicted with bokoharam while Tinubu keeps flying from one country to the other?
Why don't you also tell us the destiny of those dozens of bodies dumped at Akwuzu river when your 'lord and saviour' was governor of the state?

Dude know how to play the game well cheesy

And he knows Nigerian polithiefians for who dey are grin.
Just give them a few dollars and watch them change sides wink
So are you implying that his "knowing how to play the game well" was what fooled Peter Obi into thinking he could win the 2023 elections without pairing with Atiku or you think Tinubu would be President today if Atiku and Obi had been sensible enough to align?
Why do y'all even make it look as if Atiku and Obi were poor and didn't have the dollars to throw around in 2023?😂😂
Unlike now, almost everything and every odd was against Tinubu. Even his own sitting President was against him but as destiny already planned it, his opponents gave him the victory without stress. God put confusion in their camp and they suddenly started balkanizing the party into significantly weaker splinters and you're saying that's not the handiwork of destiny? 🤣🤣🤣
When you grow older and wiser, you will understand that it's not always about brilliance or know-how, fate is a big player.

Why do you and Tinubu chase outside validation so much? Is it low self-esteem or imposter syndrome? From aiming to please Worldbank and IMF to celebrating a mere state visit to Britain, a fast declining empire. Why not focus on Nigeria and Nigerians and actually secure the country and make it prosperous for its citizens? As things stand today, Britain will gain more from Nigeria than Nigeria can ever hope to gain from it.
Mallam, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is your uncle . You can ask him a question if it is the hosted President that requested for a State Visit from the Hosting Ruler. There is a difference between a Working visit and a State Visit.

In April 2018, Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari authorized the withdrawal of approximately $496 million to pay the United States government for 12 A-29 Super Tucano fighter jets. The transaction was controversial as it was approved without prior National Assembly approval. AMINDA, that payment was hurriedly made to facilitate a one hour meeting with Trump. The YORUBAS supported Buhari strongly on Social Media and everywhere as the blame of Buhari coming to power was laid on the YORUBAS.

After the meeting the people you are following now said TRUMP called BUHARI the most lifeless person he had ever met. They called Buhari different names it was the YORUBAS that defended Buhari on Social Media. By the Mercy of Allah, the YORUBAS gave Buhari a befitting burial.

Mind you, if Buhari had been given the honour of a State Visit by the UK, these people would have still insulted and blackmailed him.

I am as well appalled at the visuals I am seeing this morning. A whole sitting president of the most powerful black nation on earth bowing and kissing the hand of a consort. The same hand she uses to scratch her groin, and the presidents followers are falling over themselves to celebrate the unfortunate spectacle. What height of inferiority complex? If I tell you that I don't miss Buhari, I'd be lying to myself. Right now, I feel so ashamed as a Nigerian.
This is very unfortunate, this is very bad of you. This is a normal cultural or social etiquette that even Trump and the buhari you love will do. Why do you allow hatred to dictate your comments?

Destiny has brought Tinubu to the land of "KANU" to receive highest honour of the land while coincidentally KANU is being grossly dishonoured (in sokoto prison) in the land of Tinubu.

The man wey no well, weh him leg and hands dey shake is now shaking same hands and legs to receive highest honour for jailing that international terrorists like KANU and ekpa and broken the backbones of IPOB/ESN in Alaigbo. If I were you, only this event is enough for me to renounce ipob/ESN forever and rid my heart off bitterness and hatred that led KANU and ekpa to jails

You are not from Lagos Sir. I have been on nairaland for more than fifteen years and following your comments tipé tipè. Not with this username name though cos it got deactivated while trying to login, at some point.

Which other state is doing better than Lagos in terms of provision of pipe borne water availability? In my area , there's pipe borne water from the water corporation and we get bills to that effect. Societal issues are numerous and resources to handle them are scarce -- basic economics, and that's why overtime , we will continue to build capacity.

Let me also ask : Was Peter Obi able to provide pipe borne water to Anambrarians ( op I got it correctly ) during the space of his almost 8-year administration ?!

In your area of Kogi state, right huh

As a Lagosian, I am not comparing us with other states. I am comparing us with the resources we give Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo-Olu that has failed to provide water for every household, unlike when UPN progressive governor Jakande was in charge for just four years.

That is my benchmark as an ojulowo omoluabi.

Why is Tinubu able to do all these things in a country of over 200 million people?
Something must be wrong somewhere.

obi4eze:
What type of destiny? Is it destiny to plunge 97 million people into poverty? Or destiny to lift people out of poverty? Is it destiny to make life harder for the masses? Is it the destiny to pretend not to know what's going when people are being kidnapped and killed any day? Is it destiny to be a drug baron and forfeit $460000 dollars and then come back to your country and steal the richest state by taxation, fraud and deceit.

Remember, even the devil right now has a destiny.
