Just seeing that the strike achieved nothing. Indrive are still dishing out poor prices while desperate drivers and scrambling. I think I have to believe what some old timers said about how the business went downhill since indrive came on board. They deemphasized on quality of cars and marketed themselves to customers with cheap prices. |

Eazilyfe:If u guys are still working with the high fuel and low prices it means it still pays, so why all d complaints. And how will d app coys know that u guys need a raise? It is well o |

saudatu:The strike was not properly advertised, some of us here also said the strike will end like the previous ones that didn't achieve anything. Because nothing special is being done, so why do same things over and over again and be expecting different results? All these app companies needed to do was simply wait for the 3 days to elapse and drivers resume work their commission starts flowing again. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 9:20am On Mar 19 |
Pearl1910:As in. But let's be honest sha. This bizness even as it is presently is very profitable for 3 cylinder cars and 4 cylinder cars not beyond 1.8L. or electric or cng cars It just affected the profit margin doesn't mean there isn't still profit. You also can't blame the app companies cause dey won't take d drivers serious. Noone is a fool. The people working know they are making profit and actually dey r |

Glithronix:But bro seriously how u dey run am. Big daddy na 2.4L abi. Abeg show me way ooo. ![]() Much respect |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jamie90(m): 10:21am On Mar 19 |
Jegheter:Then you must mean that my civic is a fuel guzzler because this business is no longer very profitable. In fact, I don’t consider making what invested as fuel as profit profitable. Less 20% depreciation from every daily profit and recalculate. Note: Assest depreciation is different from maintenance budget. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by TUBLEZ(m): 10:35am On Mar 19 |
Jegheter:omoh with my 2.4L engine na die ooo |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 10:44am On Mar 19 |
Jamie90:Off course asset depreciation is calculated separate from maintenance budget. I'm just saying that via calculations. 1.8L fueling with 10k would give u 40k. I'm assuming all thing being equal and car is in top shape. Catalyst converter installed etc. even without the catalyst or car not optimally performing let's say 30k. But now with the increment same 1.8L would give you 30k. and 20k respectively for the car not optimally performing. Yes I see your point tho when it comes to maintenance budget. The depression is yearly calculation but the maintenance budget would eat into it all So it means it favours 3 cylinder 1.6L cars cng or electric |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 10:47am On Mar 19 |
TUBLEZ:Bro I'm using a Rav with 2.5L omoh mehn no be small calculations. If one cannot cng then getting a 3 cylinder car is priority for any seasoned driver Cause mehn Iz crazy |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jamie90(m): 11:06am On Mar 19 |
Jegheter:How many km do you suppose a civic will cover with 8 litres driving around Lagos with AC and what is the average price of each km on indrive. Not waiting for any juicy trip. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 11:33am On Mar 19 |
TUBLEZ:Very big rubbish. Changing cars is the adaptability needed for this bizness now or cng. Else driver go complain tire. App go dey say sorry dey cash join |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 11:34am On Mar 19 |
Jamie90:For me 350km-400km for a civic with 1.8L is average. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 11:35am On Mar 19 |
abefeabebi:Yes iz a subsidized cng conversion. Price is 550k or so. But u pay in full |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Eazilyfe: 11:36am On Mar 19 |
Kumuyiii:If you don clock am you go sabi say na Indrive be one of the issue. Although there are so many issues. Bolt & Uber are in competition with Indrive base price. The way my AC spoilt yesterday and it can spoil my Uber account e no be like dat for Indrive. Some cars dont have AC, all body dented and unpainted on Indrive. Indrive don low the standard of how a basic ehailing car should appear and that also reflects on the pricing. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix: 11:47am On Mar 19 |
Jegheter:95% of my trips na long trips (mainland to island and vice versa). If you're using 2.4L engine car, avoid short-short trips. Btw, when fuel was 700-and-something naira, we dey rugged am, now wey it's almost 1300, e no make sense at all. Person go open app. and start seeing crap prices, I go just go back home jéjé. ![]() I gat other things doing, abeg. The hustle is not motivating like before. Abeg tomorrow na our sallah day, make me and my fam dey arrange against tomorrow. See the bonus target the weyrey people give me below. ![]() E no go berra for these people, I swearr. ![]() Make e expire fast-fast and comot for my face. Make the hustle dey one side for now, abeg. Much respect, baba.

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 12:39pm On Mar 19 |
Glithronix:Honestly bro. That's one thing I discovered short trips are useless now for bigger engine csrs. Targeting long good trips are better. Honestly I will leave this hustle for now. And get a smaller car maybe cng. But I believe with the right tools u will do fine regardless of fuel price. Indrive very anyhow app ![]() Iz well bro. All things work together for good. Much respect |
