The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Works, Hon. Akin Alabi, has been appointed to serve on two key committees for the forthcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention.

According to the official list released by the party’s National Convention Central Coordinating Committee (NCCCC), Hon. Alabi, who represents the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency of Oyo State, will serve as a member of both the Finance Committee and the Media and Publicity Committee.

The dual appointments place him at the heart of both the financial planning and communication strategy of the convention—two critical components for the successful delivery of the national event.

The Finance Committee is responsible for budgeting, fundraising, and overall financial coordination, while the Media and Publicity Committee will oversee communication, stakeholder engagement, and dissemination of information across various platforms.

Hon. Alabi expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve, noting that the assignments reflect the party’s commitment to excellence and inclusiveness.

“I am honored by the confidence reposed in me to serve on these important committees. I remain committed to contributing my quota towards the success of the convention and the continued progress of our great party,” he said.

Observers have described the appointments as a reflection of Hon. Alabi’s growing political stature and increasing relevance within the APC at the national level.

APC bunch of rogues and thieves. My hatrexd for them all knows no bound. Imagine the billions of naira tulubu has spent on mobilizing governors, monarchs, pastors , imams, on going campaigns and this city boy movement. Those monies can actually better our electricity sector and other sectors, but they expect us to be happy with their shallow doings ? Not me maybe the brain dead followers though

How can you say a senior ranking member of the House of Reps is greedy? One of the most popular HOR members today who has effectively distinguished himself both as a businessman and a politician? Even before he became a politician, he was a Billionaire and was always doing seminars and giveaways, doing projects nationwide free of charge and investing in youths to empower them to make them successful. This is the person you are calling greedy? I am sure if they ask you to name your House of Reps member representing your Local Government, you will consult ChatGPT first because he is very irrelevant in the scheme of things. You know Akin Alabi because he is popular due to his philanthropy and connection with the youths all around Nigeria, unlike your ghost mode HOR.

Akin Alabi, funny enough is a man whose picture I have never seen, but has impacted me greatly from his books. I am surprised he is of the APC.
