With this agreement recently signed by Nigeria leadership , there is no hope of revitalization of steel industry/steel manufacturing in Nigeria.

How can Nigeria attain industrialization state when the steel industry is in comatose state? We are blessed with all the natural resources to achieve a functional steel manufacturing.
Nigeria will now import steel billet from the UK. Delta State Company during its hey days was producing steel billets in large quantities.

Can we now infer that the Western powers deliberately kill our steel industries so we can remain dependent on their steel products?

United Kingdom does not even have iron ore in large quantities compare to Nigeria.
I hope with this deal, Nigeria will not be exporting iron ore to the UK and Western worlds in the future.Nigeria in turn will import the finished steel products.

I don't even see Nigeria government revitalizing the ports in the Niger Delta.( Burutu, Warri, Sapele and PH).Nigerians will still be depending on ports in Lagos State. The proposed Agge sea port at Bayelsa State will be a project for the next government.

When will our political leaders have a long-term strategic plan for our country?

Crying and weeping in the camp of the enemies. Is this the first time countries are collaborating? Even the US and U.K. have signed many business agreements

Can you compare US and the UK business agreement to Nigeria and the UK deal? Nigeria is at the losing end.
