Good day, fellas. It is high time we told ourselves the sad and painful truth. The cost of living or survival especially in Naija is very, very tough. Self-survival is not easy let alone catering for a child. Please, give birth to children you can cater for. Olorun ma wo no mean say manna go fall from heaven. Gone are those days. Don't bring children to this world to suffer. The story of an unknown lady who flushed a baby down the toilet really broke my heart and prompted me to create this post. The fear of hardship and bearing the responsibilities could be the reason for her action. |

I don't even advice anyone to marry again especially if u are from a poor home. I have four children and my salary finishes just in one day. For men and women in their 20's,Start saving and investing aggressively and it would help u against unforeseen circumstances. That was the magic that is helping me today. When u start making money, wait till about 5years before u settle down and don't ever marry a liability...e go choke u die. Na just advice I come give. |

[quote author=SeeWahala post=138835583]Keep obavoh name out of your mouth did he complain to you or anybody? ![]() Remember he's only taking the word of his God literally by "going out to multiply" [quote/]Of what use is giving birth to children you can't cater for? The children will suffer greatly. Some will end up committing crimes like stealing, arm robbery, kidnapping etc or they may even become useless in life. Poverty is a terrible thing. |

Even if you earn a top salary (like myself), I won't advice you to marry talk more of bringing kids to this wicked word, is a word for thought. Human beings look at children as a source of investment against old age, and that, right there is the problem, they fit into societal pressure than common sense. |

Loonyy:It is well. It isn't Resilence in my opinion considering there are more than enough resources in the land. We have to unite to fight our common enemy (the political class) otherwise, it will only get worst. |

The first body that failed was the Nigerian Government, I've never seen any regime that had plan to bring people out of poverty. As there's no welfare for the elderly, their only hope is to seek succor in their children (which isn't bad in any way, shape, of form). This spur the relationship that exists between many a Nigerian parents and their children akin to that of a salve to its master. They beleive they've done you the utmost favour by bringing you to this world and you have to repay that by giving them the life they couldn't afford themselves. Subsequent generations also thinks like that and the cycle of poverty continues... |
