Incitement kwa? Lol.... grin
Am I the late Sardauna, who told you home truths that your people have refused to accept till today?
Your problem is abandonment of your homelands and unbriddled desire to encrouch and dominate other peoples homeland. Only an ignorant person will turn a blind eye to your domination desire.
Ehen home truths, when they pick you, then you will state the home truths and let people pick you apart. Keep talking ooooo. There's enough proof in your words as per ethnic incitement.

Igbos are symbol of autonomy. Nobody can represent the interest of an igboman like his fellow igboman. Igbos are the most gifted on the planet. Igbos have very many deep cultural, social and spiritual heritages to transfer to their children. Let Igbos tell their stories like every other people.

The late Sardauna of Sokoto put it succintly in the 1960s. It still holds true today.

Do your findings well, if there is a hausa community there, they will have a seriki.

I hope you know that northerners are not best of travellers outside Nigeria especially the secular countries.
If they aren't, we cannot criticize them for anything.

If yours dislike your actions which they perceive to be insulting end encroaching, you should adjust.

Hi
Please allow the soul of Late Sir AB to rest!!
Is his description of the people a lie or untrue?
You go to another persons land and crown yourself a king. Did you consider the fact that before Lord Fredrick Lugard arrived your land there was nothing like kingship. You had NO kings. It was Lugard that created kings through the warrant chief system.
Before Lugards arrival in Calabar as the capital of Southern Nigeria, you had nothing like a kingship. It was the Lord Lugard that your leaders abuse and castigate today that created all the kings and chiefs you have in your land today through the Warrant chiefs system. Is it then not ironic that you want to export a chieftaincy/kingship system which was a British creation in around 1800s?
Please goggle the warrant chief system in east Nigeria colonialism to fact check me. The fact that Oby Ezekwezili abolished history in schools while she was minister of education does not mean some of us do not know the history of the various tribes in Nigeria!

Eze means king, Oba means king, seriki means king, etc base on languages. Like I said, Igbo tribe love flamboyant lifestyle and will always display their culture anywhere they go. It’s only envy that will make an Igbo man condemn the king of a Yoruba community in another land. We should not be hateful because we don’t live up to our neighbors.

Africans are simply foolish.

Perhaps you're the one that's foolish.

If the host country do not resist that now,
there will be a time a new generation that new not Joseph will arise. And before you know it, the eye king will be claiming equal status with original traditional rulers in SA.

Creating useless thread over nothing just to gloat about a certain group of people. What is wrong in a community choosing and coronating their king. Are they trying to usurp the country’s presidency? Are they installing the king to rule the country? It is normal to have a head in a community of people. OP you should go and concoct another story to paint Igbo bad. Very anyhow haters.
as usual! They are always victims 😊

Before Lord Fredrick Lugard arrived Southern Nigeria as administrator, did you have a single king ruling your land?
All the kings you have in your land were created by Fredrick Lugard circa 1800s through the warrant chiefs system.
I repeat, you had No kingship/chieftaincy system before Lugard set foot in the territory called East Nigeria. Fact check me.
Your kigship is a creation of colonialism. It is therefore ironic that a system that is alien to your culture is what you try to export to other peoples homelands in order to dominate.
Like I said the late Sardauna studied your people and put it succintly.

Funny—some of the world’s oldest universities, groundbreaking innovations, and rich civilizations came from Africa. But sure, tell me more about foolishness.

In South Africa, the only traditional leadership structures that are legally recognized are those rooted in the country’s own history and lineage. Because of that, trying to establish a foreign traditional kingship on South African soil isn’t considered lawful. A foreign national is welcome to lead a socio-cultural organization or act as a community leader for their diaspora community, but they can’t hold or exercise "kingly" authority under South African law.

There were Igwes and Ezes (Kings). That was Igbo’s pattern. Even now there’s no central Igwe or Eze except the acclaimed OhaneEze Ndi Igbo Chairman .

Does any of them work in government to acquire the little wealth they have in that SA. No, they struggled hard to make it and they decided to flaunt it, take away jealousy from yourself and you'll know it is not easy to leave your father's house to go out in the real world and struggle to make something of yourself.

Having seriki, oba or Igwe is not really the problem. Must you do an elaborate coronation? You can just name your representative within yourselves,no need for rakatia nah.

So why exporting a kingship system that is alien to your culture to other peooles territory if not for domination?
You had no traditional kings like the Ooni, the Oba of Benin, the Alafin of Oyo,the Oba of Lagos, the Tor Tiv,the sultan of Sokoto, tge Shehu of Borno or the Olu of Itsekiri(Warri).
Your kingship has no historical structure before Lugard created the warrant chief system. Is it not ironic that a people that had no history of kingship until colonialism are the greatest proponents of exportation of this kingship to other peoples homelands?

Nobody said you should not enjoy yourself in another persons land. Do not crown yourself a king in another persons land because kingship is alien to Ibo culture prior to Lord Lugard arriving in Southern Nigeria before the amalgamation of 1914.
You had no system of organised monarchy prior to the arrival of Fredrick Lugard . So it is ironic that a system alien to your land circa 1800s is what you ard trying to export to other peoples territories in order to dominate.
