As a kid growing up,parents see it like an abomination educating their kids about sex.
The parents won't dicuss the issue of sex with the kids be it the male or the female kid.
Most kids now end up learning about sex from other means including their inexperienced friends who they themselves were not educated about sex by their parents too.
I remember many years ago when I went for my industrial training in Portharcourt and someone brought out a condom,there was a girl also doing industrial training then was asking what this condom is and what it was used for.
This made everyone around to burst into laughter.
In conclusion, it is important parents teach their kids on sex education about what it entails on how to practice safe sex or abstain completely so as to avoid the complications of pregnancy and unwanted diseases.

Hmmmmm..growing up then you hardly hear anything sex..no matter how old you have grow if you're stills staying at home and you talk about sex, Omo d beating and discipline u will receive ehn 🙄 😀...only d fear of our parent self is our guardian then.. so pathetic as things can't get better only worse💔

Very true and it was like that in most homes and these kids were already watching erotic movies then called blue films with their hormones already charged.
Some of the kids have even started having sex with some of the girls getting pregnant at a tender age.

We were first taught about condoms and their use in grade 1 back in primary.

By grade 6, we were being taught about different types of sexual intimacy together with different types of contraceptive methods.

My family only gave me a brief sex education a day before I left for varsity.

Quite good thar your school started early with sex education but m9st schools don't except during reproduction class at secondary school and they don't really go deep into it.
