The UK makes it quicker to return Nigerians with no legal right to remain. Visa overstayers, foreign criminals and failed asylum seekers will be removed from British soil far more easily under a new agreement struck this week during the state visit of Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu.Source

Emilokan has thrown many of his supporters under the bus to advance his political ambition Everywhere go first blur ![]() UK letters, an alternative identification document issued to individuals without a valid passport and used to support the return of people with no right to remain in the UK, will be recognised by the Nigerian government for the first time.

givedemwotowoto:Which is no more than what they truly deserve. They should come home and enjoy the Next Level they have been campaigning for from afar. A lot of them are constantly downplaying the sufferings of Nigerians while flexing the good leadership abroad. |

In my opinion, this is not the best. Millions of educated and skillful Nigerians leave the country in search of greener pastures. If Nigeria was working, they'll only be going for research, vacation and tourism. But no! We're experiencing a brain drain with many Nigerians seeking asylum and now countries like the UK can now fish out the useful and ship back the bad eggs, liabilities and offenders(criminals) back to Nigeria. See why Trump called Nigeria a shithole. No wonder he wanted to ship venezuelan prisoners here. The British are just being more respectful. |

Great! Dont be a nuisance in another man's country. If you don't have papers or they do not find you worthy enough to give you residency, simply come back home. Millions are equally making it here at home. No be by force to remain in the abroad. |

givedemwotowoto:There is nothing like throwing under the bus. A responsible govt will not deny its citizens. A neighbor says he doesn't want your kids in his house and you are still playing hide and seek instead of going to pick up your children? Will that not be the highest level of irresponsibility? If a neighbor says he doesn't want your kids in his house, the honourable thing to do is to create a reasonable pathway to send the children back home. ![]() The UK govt is even behaving responsibly. Some Asian and Middle East countries will throw their asses back home without any recourse to due process after starving them for some days. ![]() |

The usual wailers have once again hijacked the conversation, turning it into yet another outlet to vent their frustrations and blow things out of proportion. They’ve latched onto a fresh angle, even though the issue at hand, illegal immigration, is something the UK has been addressing through deportations for a very long time. |
