Troops arrest two suspected Boko Haram informants in Borno

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested two suspected informants linked to terrorist groups in Mainok area of Kaga Local Government Area of Borno state.

Security sources said the suspects were apprehended at about 3:00 a.m. on March 18 following credible intelligence on the movement of suspected informants within the area.

The sources said troops of 156 Task Force Battalion swiftly mobilised to the location after receiving information from local sources on suspicious activities around Mainok general area.

“During the operation, two civilians suspected to be informants for Boko Haram were apprehended,” the source said.

Items recovered from the suspects included electrical cables believed to be linked to terrorist logistics and support activities.

The suspects and recovered items are currently in military custody and will be handed over to Sector 2 Military Intelligence Brigade for further investigation.

I’m not advocating for the Iranians; what I fail to see is how this current action against them will soften their stance or stop them from chanting death to America. If anything, this will likely radicalise them further and make them more determined to acquire nuclear weapons, that’s if they don’t already have them. As a matter of fact, since the US started interfering in other countries’ affairs and overthrowing leaders they don’t agree with, the world hasn’t exactly become any safer, and I don’t see that changing in this case.

I would also argue that, with the enormous debt you guys currently have, that money would be better spent investing in your country and the citizens, but what do I know. Make dem sha end the war make we for rest.
