my challenges with you people is that naiaraland bring stale news most time,from day one the start was not totally closed,it's was inaccessible to unfriendly countries,countries like China,India,Russia etc are move freely,Iran don't bluff they are still saying what they have been saying.Dont limited ur self to naiaraland for international politics listen to al Jazeera and other independent news for updates,the treating still remains same.

Iran's position as not changed on the Strait of Hormuz, from day one, in fact Iran does not need to close the Strait of Hormuz in order to disrupt it. No warning has being adhered to. Iran foreign minister has being speaking on X since the past week that the Strait of Hormuz is open. Even taking warships to the Strait of Hormuz to secure passage wont work it is suicidal. Once NATO is involved, the US will chicken out .

It is not a fresh comment, the Iranian FM has said the Strait of Hormuz is not closed but to enemy nations but because of fear those ships could not pass.
The ships are not just passing, Japan has just reached an agreement with Iran to allow its ships through, To pass through the Strait, the ships have turn on AIS( Automatic Identification System) on. It is very easy for Iran to disrupt it without closing it .

The Strait of Hormuz is in Iran's territorial waters not in international waters. You control what is within your territorial waters by international law. Even US aircraft carriers and its battle groups are avoiding Strait of Hormuz . Just like Turkey controls the Bosphorus which links the Mediteranean with the Black Sea.
