African slaves did not have slavery for life. We’re not tortured every day, sold like cow and enslaved for generations. I am Yoruba and till today there is no evidence of families who came into Yorubaland through slavery. That is how they assimilated. There is a reason they called it SLAVE TRADE that's because it was a trade between the African kings and the whites not an invasion.
