how can you say 31 Govs out of 35, then again you said he is campaigning for 2032, haba na, next next election cycle after 2027 is 2031

Tinubu only served 2 terms in Lagos state... Yet, he has indirectly remained in charge of that state even till date.

Na the Yoruba's will be the one to reject such agenda. When there are tribes that are yet to have the privilege, even those who had under Democratic dont spend more than 2 terms.

Why should a Yoruba president now be talking about 3rd term? For what?

The reason a Yoruba president will attempt to go for third term is because ibo president from the Obi Palace of Onitsha Mr OBJ attempted it. Although he failed, i don't think Yoruba people will allow it though unless if Tinubu juju dey too strong. There's also the issue of his health and old age. Tinubu will be 90 in 2031.

Paul Biya is barely alive and Mugabe was too but we know the outome. I agree with VDM, Tinubu has a plan bigger than just 2027. Very soon, his main bot that calls himself Senate president will start the moves and all APC governors will be in support. This is what OBJ did not have back in the day which stopped him from third term.

IF PRESIDENT TINUBU DESIRES A THIRD TERM, These are the legal requirements to achieve it

Pls, take emotions away

As we speak

1. The APC have 31 out of 36 State Governors

2. The APC have total of 87 seat at the Senate out of 109

2. APC holds 268 seat At the House of representatives out of 360

So, if the President desires a third term, this is the way to go

To make constitution amendments, these are the legal requirements

1. The proposed amendment Bill must be supported by at least two thirds majority of all members in both the Senate and the House of Representatives and the APC have the two third already

2. 24 states out of 36 must vote in favour of the amendment, which the APC got already

3. The President will need to sign to approve it

So without having much to say
If the Tinubu gets Re Elected

He can decide to Amend the constitution to give him more additional terms

The constitution requirements is at his fingertips as we speak.
