Why not food sufficiency first.

We have a lot of natural resources that can be exported for now. Everybody is running to town many to engage in criminality to make money.

nairalanda1:
No, using our resources to make exportable goods should be our new oil.

We should have passed the stage of selling palm oil, cotton, cocoa and so forth.

The size of land they have planted palm trees is not up to the claim of 10,000 hectares. Abi are they also invluding the Oguta Lakers as part of the 10,000 hectares?

10,000 hectares should be as fasr as the eyes can see.

Things are gradually taking shape in Nigeria. Mass farming, small, medium and large scale should be encouraged.

The everyday Nigerian whose mindset has been conditioned to first think of buying Okada to run Okada business with any little money that comes their way should divulge such money in farm business and watch things change

And the ibo business men whose first thinking is to start an import business importing fake and substandard products with small change they get not knowing such move is weakening the naira should go into farming and see the change they will bring to themselves and the country at larger
All you need is a thousand hectares in each LG fir integrated agric, thats sufficient fir trained youths in mechanised modern agriculture.

Enugu State covers a total land area of approximately 7,161 square kilometers (716,000 hectares). Ezeagu is also one of the largest in landmass in the state.
Just make a lame analogy fir him so he can understand......a hectares is just 10 football pitches......is he saying enugu isn't upto 100k pitches.......he is very wrong.

lol, we couldnt pass that stage because we didnt invest in STEM focused education and we didnt control birth rate. So, it is already a disaster. The black man love buying finished products. We wasted our money purchasing white man's created products instead of turning our abundant resources into finished products. Only STEM focused course could have done that.

After this administration, will the next administration still prioritize it?
The question is : were they constructed by the present government? The answer is no. That is if they are fictional.

Re: Pictures Of 10,000 Hectare Enugu Tribu Songhai Farms by Originalsly: 8:22am On Mar 24
Who owns the farm? Is it the State? ...is it a foreign company? ..is it a local investor? ...a politician? If it's the administration....the administration shouldn't be running a business but making it possible for the private sector to set up such businesses. If it's a foreign company....has the administration given locals the support and concessions they have given the private company? This farm has piggery ..fish ..palm oil etc .... wouldn't this be putting the various local small farmers out of business? Would the farm be having natural products?...or genetically modified products? If GMO ... are we prepared for the health problems and contamination of local crops?
