Good day Nairalanders,

Were you there, this is for us that went to government school, not for those that went to private school, with Air condition.

I didn't experience this in my SSS days as I'm a science student, we are not much, sometimes, we might even be in either physics or chemistry lab for a whole month, thats where we would recieve all our lectures..


But you see when I was in junior class, ah, with all my over writing names and design, thats when you will see that they have stolen your desk or chair and use blade to scrape your name or design off and put another design on it, you will be doing free tour for a whole week, thats if you even see it self.

Sometimes you will have to resume school early, so that you can have access to all classes to see if you can see either your stolen desk or chair 😆 🤣 😂

Lol my dad made a very heavy one for me then, my name boldly written on it. If you want to join me in my sit you must bring kulikuli or dankuya, though I preferred kulikuli.

Later changed to a school that had morning session 7AM - 12PM, afternoon session 12PM-5PM. Morning session go dirty school like say tomorrow no dey, we afternoon session reciprocated the gesture in 10 fold. Fun childhood memories.

Go ask me for meiran model college 08/09...na piggrey bush I deh go hide table wey I still for afternoon closing hour...then I go carry am the next day...return am after the day again...naso I deh run when exam start till when e go finish

Ajuwon High School then it was pure bliss....

Omo this thing happened to me in Jss2 , one boy stole my chair and still beat the hell out of me ( My age mate o). That was the last time I've fought physically with any human being. I was even taller than this boy, After that day, I've made up my mind that fighting is not my thing.

This thread is the signal that Nigerian elders are useless. As in in secondary schools, and teachers couldnt curb such act..mean! That was when things were still OK...but the cracks were there in our faces.

I say it everytime...the people who spoiled Nigeria are mostly 60 years upward and those who don kpai from 80s. Na dem enjoyed Nigeria. That ladder the British gave them, dem commot am ....spoiled everything.

In this thread...I am saying it again here. All our leaders from 1960 no go die well. The ones wey don die no go rest well. Na me dey talk am. Imagine....one thread today - Namibia, Ghana, Eritrea, Liberia and most African countries get better quality life than us, so make we japa there. Imagine. Another one - Nigeria ranks last among 89 nations for quality of life. Make countries like Srilanka. Bangladesh, Venezuela, Philippines dey get better life than us. Just imagine. Chai.

You guys don't know what Nigeria used to be. It was predicted that we would just be after the world power..as in after you count US, UK, Germany and other world power, you go count Nigeria. China sef no rank high like us in those days.

So, you guys don't even understand what we are saying. Make Lagos State dey get over 30 million population. Yet, electric generation dey lower than when Lagos was only 450,000. E don finish for Nigeria. Walahi.

See eh. The only thing that can save us is to part ways and we can go and heal. Divide Naija now. We go be lower rank ooo. No more giant of yeye Nigeria...but the nations go first commot Naija shame. Then, each of them go find their level in Africa. Ghana sef go fit slap all the new nations. But gradually, we will build up.

Our broom fight with JSS 2C that year. The punishment we later received for fighting with the brooms by our class teacher, I can never forget that beating.

6 strokes of the cane each. Now not that the strokes were the hard and painful part, the position you'll have to take before taking each steoke makes it stand out. You will sit in reverse on a chair 🪑 you see that small space at the back, your leg will go inside, then your chest must touch the back, giving your bum a nice curve out for the teacher. Ọmọ i just can't forget eh .

My name was nailed unto my chair. I used my chair on a Friday.

By Monday morning, my chair moved from JS1 H to JS1 A. This chair was heavy. Omo, boys move am oo.
