Ellexy, why is it surprising? Trump has always been blunt about some of the reasons for his transnational border incursions. He was blunt about Venezuela; about being deposing Maduro for aligning with the East and the U.S. interest in their oil. He's been blunt about his reasons for wanting to take over Cuba; including Greenland. He's been blunt about controlling shipping lines, oil trade and taking down Iran as the spearhead of Middle Eastern crises. Also, taking out Iran's leadership for making two attempts on his life as while he was running for POTUS 47 in 2024. The honesty is why I like Trump. I like a honest crook – not perfect, but you know where you stand with him. Unlike Obama and others on the Left who would virtue-signal with "bringing democracy" and other such ruses. At least with Trump you know why he's doing it and he never hides his intentions. Everyone steeped in global sociopolitics already know Trump has been vocal about these things for years. |

The share size of the conspiracy is impressive. While it looks like Isreal is the number one aggressor and pushing the US into a war it doesn't necessarily want, it's actually the US who is behind it all and using the desperate Israel to shadow their true interests. Isreal may be fighting for survival but UD is fighting to total world dominance. There are levels to this game mahn, China no even get levels like that. When will Nigeria level up mahn.... DissTroy:Yeah respect to Trump, he doesn't sugarcoat it all. He's a very good president for America but a bad leader for the rest of the world probably. |

Ellexy:The man ran on MAGA and nationalism since he threw his hat in the ring in 2014. His whole schtick is "America First". I wish we had a GCFR who puts Nigeria first. Who doesn't build a railway to Niger Republic while building none in the South East, or Ajaokuta Steel Mill is dysfunctional. I wish we had a President who demands Ghana which gets gas from and owes us at least treat Nigerians resident in Ghana with respect. I wish we had a President who demands ECOWAS sit up like Trump demands of NATO, and Nigeria gets to benefit as much as the whole ECOWAS benefits from Nigeria's socio-economy, and raises the economic wand whenever Senegal or Togo mistreats a Nigerian; or even bûlly them to apologize because mistreating a Nigerian in your country is an insult to Nigeria. I wish.. |

Please what is USA's reason for voting against condemning trans Atlantic slave trade? They think it's okay? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 10:50pm On Mar 26 |
Ellexy:Is there any other country in the world that another country or countries are determined to eradicate from the map? That is the unique position finds itself Imagine someone says my goal in life is to eradicate Nigeria while building weapons to do so, How do you think we will take it |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 10:52pm On Mar 26 |
izzou:I dont know but why is the vote not against All form of slave trades? We have slavery in every civilization, Some going on today. I will say there are more slaves in Oyo state today than in the whole of America every King palace in Yoruba land toay still have slaves. I dont know abut other cultures AFAIK, there is no slave in US or the west today. In Arab countries there are black slaves till today, How come the voting is not addressing that? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 10:54pm On Mar 26 |
Ellexy:How blessed will you be if your leaders say its Nigeria first, Oyo first, Elexxy family first will it be offensive to people if I say any of those to say I priortize my people? whoever ox is gored Bro if there is 1 meal and its between your children and my children. Guess who is getting the food? Yeah you know the answer No apologies for it |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 10:59pm On Mar 26 |
izzou:Is it really the worst ever crime against humanity in all of history? That is what the the vote was about not just the condemnation. Meanwhile countries like Libya and some Middle Eastern countries still having and practicing slave trades voted for it. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 11:01pm On Mar 26 |

For all the Iranian denials there are definitely conversations and negotiations ongoing. Whether they will yield anything tangible no one knows. |

Ellexy:Let me shock you with something: Africans who had slaves were some of those who offered to give slaves to the Europeans in exchange for gifts as shinny as the pictures Okpa uploads here. Also, the Europeans saw how the Arabs (who are neighbours – remember the Iberian Peninsula where Portugal and Spain are - has a long history with Arabs and even a mixed population) were trading in African slavés unhindered and partook of it. It's like seeing people scoop fuel from a tanked unhindered so you scoop even though it is deådly and immoral yet years later everyone wants to label only you as the fuel bunkerer. That's unfair. It was the same Europeans who pushed to abolish the slave trade. I have mentioned here a number of times that I hail from a place right on the Atlantic Ocean; and my hometown is the single most important place in Nigeria's pre-colonial and colonial history. I have also posted about having to digitize the history and other information of my people so the research led me to slave barns (which people are now visiting) and tracing genealogies of slave masters who also became warrant chiefs for the colonial government. If there's any reparation to be done, governments of the South South (places right on the coast) have to pay too. The forebears of people indigenous to these areas are just as guilty of slave trade. But we want to gaslight the Europeans and Americans to extort money for something our forebears benefited from. One person higher-up in the government was arguing same with me in a WhatsApp group earlier in the month, insisting the West must pay so I dug into my archives to drop pictures I foraged and snapped myself in 2020 while working on the digital portal for the history and more of my hometown, and even tagged the curator, a female historian, of the institution set up for these things who was quiet in the WhatsApp group. We are just as guilty of slave trade, yet we played no part to end it. The West we blame ended what we engaged in long before them. |

Ellexy:The conspiracy falls flat when you realize Israel has been trying to talk the US into going to war with Iran for decades. Only Trump was dumb enough to fall for their manipulations despite making numerous tweets accusing other presidents of planning to attack Iran for various reasons.

DissTroy:Slavery happened in most of human civilization and it was an economic policy of that time Most civilizations practised Agriculture, the only way to be rich is to have more people plough your land so you can do more There were no machines, So it had to be human labor, This provided incentives for kingdoms to go to war and grab more people as slaves to do work for them If you were born 400yrs ago, and you are a big/rich man you are likely to have slaves, It was an accepted part of human culture Right now its no longer acceptable in Western cultures, Some in Africa still do it If you want to dig back into your lineage far enough, you will see either one of your ancestors was a slave owner(who held black slaves) or a slave

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 12:09am On Mar 27 |
In pre-colonial Nigeria, for example, it was the slave-raiding parties funded by the coastal Ijaws, Ibibio-Efiks, Itsekiris, Aworis and others who liased with their closest neighbours to go raid the hinterlands to capture people in farms and forests as sláves. The Europeans never did so. It was the Africans who owned slave barns from present-day Akwa Ibom to Rivers to Lagos (Ogun) to Ghana. It was the African chiefs and slave masters who kept their fellow Africans in sub-water-level barns, and built and policed the Bridges of No Return. The Europeans simply bought 'products' your forebears sold to them. You want to blame the cocåine traffickers for the drûg trade but absolve the cocá of blame? Worse even, the children of the côca farmers and producers want to blame their fathers' clients for the destructive drûg trade. Study who the slave trade really operated and you'll never ask for reparations again. |

Funny thing is that Holocaust numbers doesn't even match the casualties Africa suffered during slave trade and European colonialism... But but, dumb Nigerians go make excuse for white man, never hold them accountable or demand justice. ICE don get license to screen online post history of potential US travelers/immigrants. Dem dey hustle for japa |

I see a new level of coping. If you cannot win in the battlefield, you grab imaginary victory yapping about US control of oil. Beijing is still playing in Western Hemisphere. Brazil & Canada for example. More than 70% of Brazil oil export & Canadian oil export are heading to Chinese port. Payments are done in Yuan. In exchange, Chinese EV companies like BYD have a big stake in this countries. There are gas pipelines from Russia to China, Russia account for more than half of Chinese gas import. Payments are conducted in their national currency. While America account for more than 50% of European gas shipment.. India is EU largest supplier of oil. Where does India import crude oil from? Russia. So New Delhi is just a middleman/agent. There are two gas pipelines taking Russian gas from Russia to Germany/EU. One was damaged by Ukrainian agents while the second one was simply turned off because of EU sanctions on Russian gas. If Trump and America play too much, EU might just activate the second pipeline which is untouched and also rebuild the one that was damaged. There's also the TurkStream gas pipeline taking Russian gas to Turkey, Eastern and Central Europe which is still active to this day. I don't want to talk about rare earth minerals where China enjoy massive monopoly. In fact, any fighter jets or warship US lose against Iran now will be very hard to replace because of Chinese rare earth sanctions on US. E get why dem dey try call for help from NATO make e no be only dem go carry the loss.
